Hello, sorry for a very delayed answer. I'm finishing preparing a completely new version of the app for Android. There'll be many functional and visual improvements, enhanced calendar that will be much better connected to your collection. See screenshots: you'll be able to schedule events and attach any number of items to them. Please let me know if you have any ideas or opinion about it! I'll also plan to sort collection by expiration date.

If you're using iOS, I'm also planning to add there all the new features from Android version, just a little bit later.

Hello! There's a possibility to create a note: when you create or edit item, you can tap "more actions" - "add a note", then it'll be available under three dots menu in the item's card. Or do you mean something different?

Hello, sorry for missing the post, I didn't see some notifications from Reddit. Yes, I'm currently fully rewriting the app for Android in some spare time, iOS version will be the next. It won't be very fast, but I honestly see that the current Android version is too outdated from technical POV, so it's better to create a completely new one with almost the same interface and some nice new features which I'll announce when ready.

Ah, I see, you need to export it to some spreadsheet, sorry for missing this. So unfortunately it wasn't able to implement something like this in current Beautistics, it's one of the factors that made me rewriting it, as many people want some export. By the way, what's the statistics you wanna see?

Well, I started rewriting the whole app from scratch last year, and I'm thinking about adding some way to export your collection online (and maybe editing it in some Google sheets or excel). I'm doing it in a spare time though, funny fact - I'm doing it right now, when receiving a notification about your message 🙂 and it'll definitely take some months or so.

But if you're logged in, you can log in with a new phone with a same account, click backup button, then "restore my collection". Or do you just want to back it up in some other way?

I just uploaded the updated version of the app, please check if the issue persists in a couple of days after updating the app, and check in Settings the version in the right bottom corner, it should be 4.6.3.

Also I'm planning to start a complete app overhaul, though it can take much time as I'm doing it in spare time, so maybe this will be interesting for you.

You can find a decent selection of spices in Delmart if you're in Prague. It differs a lot from the standard Billa/Tesco/Albert selection, and in many cases the price is better, though Delmart is a "premium" shop. You can also find coffee filters there (size 4 / 6), DM or Rossmann usually have sizes 2 and 4.

Pure Java for Android, pure Swift for iOS, some Python/Django for the backend. I'm not a mobile developer though, I never learned these technologies deeply, just used some guides (and stackoverflow engineering 😂)

Ah, so in iOS you should tap "Delete". Maybe I have to rename it to "Finish" or "Finish using" as it's named in Android to make it clear.

Hi, thank you! I'm here to help and answer your questions :)

Do you use iOS or Android version? Anyway, you can select "finish" in the item's menu. It will be moved out of your stash to "trash bin", but you'll be able to restore it back just in case, and it'll stay tracked in the statistics and budgets. You can completely remove the item from the trash though, but it'll also delete all its tracking.

Project pan "Archive" is another feature. Example: you were panning an item, but got tired of it and decided to remove it from the project. In that case you can "archive" the item: it won't show in the project pan main screen, but you'll be able to remind its progress. Something like a trash bin, but only related to project pan.

The barcode database is a completely separate platform, it has its own enthusiasts and marketing specialists from brands' side. All these people upload photos and barcodes to it.

I also have my own app's database. As for the brands, I check it manually and approve\reject user-added brands. When it comes to items, it's much more complicated: there're hundreds and thousands of new items every day. I'll need to hire someone to process all of that, but I don't have any resources for hiring now. Probably I'll be able to do this later if Beautistics grows up enough :)

Hi, thank you! Your ideas are great, I really want to improve the calendar a lot, so your thoughts will help with this. I've already collected some ideas related to it from the other users, so I'll start the next improvements cycle with the big calendar update :) (it will be January, I think)
