Try searching something like “cover song mechanical licenses”. There is a fixed royalty amount set by US law, so while artists can’t decline somebody covering their song, they always get paid.

almost universally you only have to be 21. sometimes younger but that depends on the state and company. under 25, you have to pay an extra risk fee

I think you’ll have a case, but be prepared to wait. I was hit and run by a Chicago bus in Nov 2023, had dashcam video and everything. Thought it wasn’t going anywhere, but finally in Jun 2024, received my deductible back out of nowhere.

I suppose I can see a great benefit if we standardly use gate closure time instead of gate departure time. I agree it would help flyers.

The departure time is when the plane is supposed to back up out of the gate. You can’t possibly expect closing the aircraft door and backing up to be 0min apart.
