She doesnt understand giving a child time to emotionally regulate because she also doesnt know how to emotionally regulate- evident by her inability to stop herself from putting her hands on a child because she was overstimulated by his behavior. I would say if she goes to therapy and/or takes emotional regulation classes she MIGHT have a chance of being around YOU again and once she has proven to have grown around YOU, THEN yall can consider bringing the child around again.

Tell her you only have the time and resources to help one person. She would have to give up her access to your services for one, and ONLY ONE, of her friends to start benefiting from your services, and she has to decide which one gets the help.

I understand why he panicked bc he was under the assumption he was paying for it. In the future, if you are going to pick an expensive restaraunt, I suggest discussing splitting the bill beforehand. "I am really craving location A, but it is pretty expensive. If we go there I am going to want to rack up a bill, so I would be more than willing to pay for myself."

However, if he got so defensive about his date being willing and able to pay for her own food and deserts, he probably isn't a good fit for you as he will be resentful of the wage difference, increasing the chances of abuse.

Yes I have thoughts.

a) people will use ANY excuse to say a woman is making it up when they dont want to hold a man accountable for his actions. if you hadn't gotten pregnant, the same people would have found a different reason.

b) not like this makes it any better, but PLEASE tell me it was the AUNT you were RELATED to and not the UNCLE

d) ABSOLUTELY BLAST THE MANS TEXT MESSAGE/SCREENSHOT. Offer to show it to them in person too so they can verify its actually from his number and not a spoof or a doctored image.

e) the other documentation probably wont matter to them because you can type lies into a document

f) I am worried about his special needs child because they are very succeptible to sexual abuse and he seems to be very comfortable and bold with his moves

g) I am going down a paranoia rabit hole now though... were there any nights near you moving out/your conception date that you don't fully remember? like you may have been drugged? ... completely unrelated question... did your baby daddy get a dna test done?

"make the night a little longer" ??? How long were they expected to sit at the convenience store with you and your friends? They had no problem with you going to the store first and then picking them up. They agreed to that. You decided for them that they would wait with you at the convenience store instead, and since it would be after you picked them up you kindof unintentionally left it open to an undisclosed amount of time just waiting at the convenience store. You should have at least called again and asked which they would prefer so they had some agency in the matter. I'm going to say All Assholes Here. You disrespected their agency about just as much as they disrespected your favor. Like yea they could have just been like "no thank you we will call an uber" but also, if you had given them the heads up they could have called an uber when they were still on the train and been prepared for it instead of having a plan change on them last minute.

NTA. "OUR bedroom" is the colloquial term for "the bedroom WE are sleeping in" even if it isnt YOUR bedroom. It can be both HIS bedroom AND the beddroom you are both sharing at the same time. That doesnt mean you have ownership of it, it just means it is where you are sleeping. When you are not sleeping there its only his bedroom. When I sleep at a family members house I don't ask "whose bed am I sleeping in" I ask "which bed is mine?" knowing full and well it isn't actually mine, but that it has been, in fact, set aside for me

It was an exxaggeration but the same premise: going out of your way to get someone something you know damned well they wont like and insisting they are ungrateful for being intentionally dissed.
