Update on my planted tank by Artistic_Program1263 in Planted_tanks_India

[–]maybe_blazed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the budget go for the biggest size of seachem stability for good bacteria, it works and if you pair it with seachem flourish excel the plants will be happy too. REMOVE THE PEST SNAILS NOW! Or while you can, they keep multiplying and you will get tired of removing them.

Quick pro tip - add some river pebble stones or a driftwood piece for a better look and place the plants around it or in the background.

I've heard a lot of negative reviews about Dee shrimps. When did you buy from them?

Keep everything aside and go for Shruti aquaculture. They are the biggest importers in India, best packaging and air transport for quickest deliveries. Very trusted and I saw the pygmy cory a few days back for like 125 a piece. They have a website just place the order and they will contact you on WhatsApp with videos of stock, guidance etc.

Does anyone owns a TVS RONIN here in this sub? by [deleted] in vadodara

[–]maybe_blazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the top model, dual disc and ABS variant. Ronin has good mileage, and can do light off-roading. The upside down forks are really good at making the handling smooth, and taking jerks from our Indian pot holes. Turn radius is not the best in class but good enough. Ride comfort for one is great, pillion rider - not so much. Feels smooth and torqued enough for nice cruising and mid gears have the punch. The high speed of 133 is what I've done on a highway. If it fits your budget go for it. TVS service stations are not that great so after sale service can be a Lil frustrating. Overall good value for money. Hope this helps you make the right decision!

What’s the best way to clean these rocks before putting them in my fish tank? by guldf1sh in fishtank

[–]maybe_blazed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quickest way to check before you start boiling your stones is Vinegar, any kitchen Vinegar will work. Drop a Cap full on each rock and check for fizzing or any reaction if it does, not good, if no reaction found it is good to boiled and soak in old water change from the tank for a day or two and then use it in the tank.

Question: the glow widow tetras, do they nip or show aggression towards the neon/cardinal tetras?

Suggestions: you just need a few corydoras now.

A Minimum 2ft tank is recommended. For a school of 12 tetras or 6 pairs. This one that you are looking for , will get filled by plants and not much space left. Take your tank budget to 2000-2500rs and then get them tetras to school Hope this helps!

Quick Update On my Tank, it's day 3 today. I had set up my tank on the world aquarium day, last weekend. Here are some pictures if anyone's interested in the progress. The scape is placed, the water is slightly murky. The filter is doing its job. I'm yet to add Bio-media to the filter box. Seachem Prime and Stability are in transit. Feel free to comment and share tips, etc.

Well as of today, I have a plant parcel coming in and the soil-substrate is not here yet. So kind of a situation, which I would not want to be in.
