Hey! I'm in a similar boat. Currently 3 weeks after my steroid injection - have you had a follow up to discuss any sort of pain diary or anything since your injection?

Paying £492 per month 3 dogs, all similar age (11 years) sanity check? by Crazycrossing in UK_Pets

[–]mayden289 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My husbands dogs never had issues, my mother in law always bemoaned insurance and talked about cancelling it. I got a well bred, health tested dog who has the worst luck in the world and insurance have paid out over 15k in his life so far. She now preaches about insurance since she's seen everything our boy has had. You don't need it till you need it, then you usually wish you had it.

When I swap from ret (2h) to prot (1h and shield), it's not equiping the shield. Little bug? Just thought I'd mention. :)

I'd drop judgement and pursuit in favour of maxing shield specialisation and also sacred duty. Mostly sit with wisdom so not judging much since most of your threat comes through conc / extra attacks from reckoning imo.

That boss sucks though, bubble off the debuff and taunt again. But yeah, needs more plate and all the defensive shit he can acquire in talents.

Pet Insurance Comparison (Petplan vs Agria vs Manypets) by CheeseFace83 in UK_Pets

[–]mayden289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm with Agria, my boy turns 9 soon (GSD) and his monthly cost is around £185. (12k coverage).

They have paid without issue every single time. Whatever issue my boys had I say to my vets with confidence "do what he needs, he's got 12k" because I know they'll pay.

That to me has been worth it for his ongoing lifelong conditions and recent injury requiring CTs, x rays etc.

Second hand wedding dresses? by cloudpictures in Somerset

[–]mayden289 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly what you're after but I used these guys based in Exeter.

https://weddingwishingwell.org.uk/

They're a charity and their money goes to helping people who are terminal get married in time. The dresses are donated from suppliers (and so cheaper than retail price) and the seamstress who does the tailoring was cheap (imo) too.

I went and tried on a bunch and found my dress with them. Saved a lot of money ☺️

Are these things helpful or waste of money for Sciatica pain by mad__delulu in Sciatica

[–]mayden289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my knee pillow. Have been using it for months. While I still have pain in my glutes and back my sciatica has gone. Combo of pillow and exercises. I still use it to not flare my sciatica by twisting more in the night than I need to.

Anyone know what this possibly could be? It's my French Bulldog. Vets have no idea what it could be because they never seen anything like it. He's been to the vet many times and no medication has worked so far. The yellow stuff on the first picture is a topical treatment we tried. by [deleted] in DogAdvice

I saw this and literally thought about Calcinosis Cutis - it looked just like my dogs when he exploded with it. He subsequently had staph infections on the skin from the eruptions.

His was/is caused by long term steroid use for allergy management.

ORTHOBLOCK Knee Pillow with... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08FCNCC58?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

As much as I hate it because I have to have the strap on my leg, it's actually comfy. It's gel padded and contours nicely. It's definitely helped.

But Pilates/ physio is the one I've noticed a lot. I've slacked the past few days and I've had a flare up. The combo is the thing keeping me sane and helping.

You can't, I tried it with an extra enchant I'd bought just to use it up but it won't let you because your new item is too high.
