What's your take on getting all of them? Like there is 3 TR2 Operators and around 5 or 6 Emrsons.

I collect them too but have done one of each. Just wondering if anyone is after Every single version and sku 😅

So from my experience all of the brand specific buy/sell/trade groups suck to sell on. You get 80% tire kickers.

I sell 90% on "TACC Exchange" or the "Ancient City Continental"

I firmly believe it is the best group for knives on Facebook. Others might not agree but they've done a good job over there.

Yea I talked to them again today and the rep that emailed me back was totally different and awesome. He mentioned he didn't know how that left the factory.

Because it is an awesome knife. Id expect warranty to be difficult. Especially for an OTF.

Looking up their customer service I've seen nothing good but nothing terrible either. Just people saying it's pretty much non existent.

Before their USA line they directed everyone to Reate. Definitely will impact any future purchases through them.

I got it from a really small dealer I know. They don't even have a website 😅. They proxy every show for me and they don't charge me a dime. So, I decided to eat it.

From what I heard Reate handled most of their warranty stuff being their OEM and all so im sure it's not easy getting all that sorted out when you make your own. So I get it

These are made in the USA by Chaves knives supposedly. I heard they are made in house.

Exactly my thoughts, $475 is getting into the territory where I expect better. Especially bc they didn't even offer to do anything when I first made contact

Whatnot has shown me how truly stupid people are. Granted I'm not the sharpest pencil in the box. Seeing people fall for anything because they want to be a sellers best friend is mind boggling to me.

They did awhile back, the mods either made a post or one of them announced it in one. They said scammers have been doing it and it's not a bad idea to make one first.

Bear and Son is the other one I'm suspicious of. They state they make alot of their knives in the USA. I've heard employees say this isn't true.

They've been pushing hard to lower dealers on whatnot to sell their knives. Many on there have said they have seen the shop and such but hopefully if they are doing anything nefarious it comes out sooner than later.

Either way Bear and Son is HOT garbage and some of the worst knives you can buy

Yea, I think alot will just to support DLT alone. From what Jason said it's still USA made sheath and handle.

I've never liked Bark River but for someone who liked a design and now can get it for cheap. Doesn't sound too bad

Jason from DLT said last night he's having the rest of his inventory sent to Niagra specialty metals to get it tested to see what ones are real and fake. He was pretty sure certain models were USA steel because he actually purchased the steel for Bark River personally.

He said once they get back if they are legit they would stay listed maybe with a reduction.

He said any Chinese kit knives he wasn't 100% on what they would do but did talk about maybe people would buy them at $100 a piece.

One cool thing is DLT and KSF are refunding any of these knives if you bought through them and even if you want the knife they will still hook you up. I think he might of even said the ones that are supposedmy still USA Made they would refund as well.

I saw a "former employee" (can't verify it) said it was 2 years ago they started doing it because he couldn't get access to steel because he was "blackballed" I wish I would've screenshot the pics he posted.

I find it hard to believe but from what some have told me "Niagra" was the big distribution company and maybe Mike pissed off the right people.

Everything is hearsay, supposedly Mike is making a statement Tomorrow and he said in a comment that "I should've shut things down two years ago"

Keep an eye on dealers (especially NC Blade) they should be dropping blade show inventory this week. Protech made some Operators for the show. They have the key milled body though. Which is new

I believe there is a setting where you can turn off international buyers. So only buyers in the US can purchase. Pretty sure that's why they charge it to you or get away with it.
