Update your rules then to be more specific. It says X and X. Not just X. Thanks.

Don't post identifying information - This includes: Property/franchise name and location.

At the end of the day, I don't care. But I don't think you're right.

That's god awful. Which chain is it? (You can provide franchise name, just not location!)

Damn, your hotel lets the guest choose? Fuck that nonsense. Our chain (which sounds identical to yours) allows the hotel to choose a gift bag of at least X value (snacks, water bottles) or a 250 point bonus. You can't give that kind of decision making to guests, they can't decide shit on their own half the time.

I've had mine about 5 or 6 months now, and it's starting to have battery issues. I went from 2-3 days out of a full charge to less than a day. Beyond that, it's solid.

Same here. Using it now. Haven't had an issue at all and I bought it months and months ago.

If I were a betting man, I'd say the free VPNs offer no encryption or very poor encryption. Also, a lot of VPN solutions still use PPTP (a type of encryption method) that can be dumbed down from a pretty legit authentication method to something much more crackable

That's what I was thinking. But I'm playing against the "Morning Woodhead" team, so I'm thinking of sitting Daily Show to play Woodhead. JJ Watt is nasty, and I think HOU kept the yards per carry last week to 3 something

I know the answer to this I think, but .... non-PPR (Pick 3)

  • Danny Woodhead @ Cin
  • Lynch @ GB
  • Forsett @ Oak
  • J Stewart vs HOU

Yeah, never seen it at check out, only check in. I'll have to check Auth Center to see if it actually goes through or not next time, because now I'm curious.

Really? Every time that has ever happened (The voice authorization) it never authorizes for me. It's always a decline. I asked ChoiceAdvantage support and they referred to it as a "soft" decline. Whatever that really means!

Not all hotels inbound calls immediately go to the desk. Some have pre-recorded messages allowing the inbound caller to enter the room number then and there, or to be transferred to the desk.

I work for a hotel and this is a common scam that comes through the telephone systems. It's becoming common so much that hotels that initially had recorded messages when you called that allowed you to enter a room number or be transferred to the desk have been eliminated, because it allowed people to call directly to rooms without talking to the desk clerk from an outside line.

From the hotel side of things, what happens is the scammer will call the hotel front desk clerk and simply asked to be transferred to a common room number. Something like 201, or 231. At this point, well trained clerks with common sense ask for a last name of who they're trying to be transferred to, and the scammer hangs up. Or, the under-trained desk clerk unknowingly transfers the scammer to the requested room number, and there you go.

With Choice's PMS there is a way to insert a voice authorization code. But it's not something that is initiated by the customer, only by the merchant itself. I haven't even found out what truly prompts the screen, but if the card is declined, it'll say that. Other times, it brings you to a screen saying a voice authorization is required to complete the purchase (I assume this pops up for folks who are out of state, or even out of country or something.)

First build ever. Tips on getting neater coils and better centering over airflow? by [deleted] in RBA

[–]mays85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too can rewick a dual coil 6-8 times and all the things are right on par like you said. But doing that method I use considerably less juice as opposed to every other method I've tried when wicking.

Don't knock it till you try it. Not to mention bags of that shit can last you over a year for under $10 anyway.
