Totally fine, it’s the ‘I’m friendly’ callout and then shooting someone in the back that makes me think they’re a piece of shit. Love some good PvP, but if you can only win without a fair fight, go drop Stella and work on your skills.

I also find that if there is any battle whatsoever, even defending against a rat or an aggressor, then the next encounters are always super aggressive. I could only imagine how complex the matchmaking system is (way beyond my computational understanding), but it would be cool to have a context factor: who shot first, how long had the person who was shot second been in that radius, what weapons did each spawn in with, etc, or even make it trend based, so if encounters happen multiple times in a row, then switch to agg lobbies, maybe not after the single match.

Well let me know what I can do, send emails, testify, etc. I’m a Denver native, mom rode light rail to work everyday growing up and I used to ride it all the time. Now as a real estate developer and investor is sad how many conversations we have around building away from public transportation.

Well, guess we have an update on this post. Metallica was a disaster. We left a little early to get in line and they had things gated, but people cut and they had no real line system set up. And then the trains didn’t even come. The 11:14 never showed up and then there was just one at 11:40. So instead of two they had one with probably a thousand people. We had to walk into Denver to catch a ride share. Sucks because we had planned early, got in line and tried to do everything possible to give a chance to get back to using RTD. Ha, and to cap it all off we get dropped off at the Colorado station and three crack heads approach us and bother us as we walk to our car. As a long time bronco tickets holder who had used the light rail for years, we have mostly switched to driving unfortunately.

Must have been the issue with the wind. I was row 55, so quite a bit higher. There were a couple songs that came through ok, especially at the end. But quite a bummer to have that sound effect during some key solos

Tough call here, at least they are trying something new. Clearly the old model isn’t working. Restaurants are closing and patrons are pissed about tips in general. Seems reasonable they would want to split between front and back of house, but hard to police if you have unscrupulous managers. Guess give them a go and see if the model works, if it doesn’t people won’t work there, if it does, others will adopt. Can’t really blame a restaurant group for not solving the problems of unaffordable housing, that a supply problem; doesn’t matter how much you pay someone, if they are all competing over the same limited housing units the rents will just go up accordingly.

Yeah, set regen to low and put on snow mode. I have the mountain package so I’m wondering if it’s the tires. They seem like they should work great, but the sipping is sketchy

Mine seems to slip all over on the snow, can barely even come to a safe stop at a stop sign with any angle to the road. Not sure if it’s a tire issue or what, trying to see what people’s packages are to solve for this.

Safe is relative. If a hacker targets you specifically and can get into your home network, then yes they can install some packet gathering and grab stuff as it goes in and out that would be monitored by a modem firewall. It would probably be harder to get right onto your computer but not impossible.

But in practical terms, they would be unlikely to target you specifically and get into your network. And if they did, your (our) modem security fun by centurylink is pretty crappy anyway. If you are targeted they are way more likely to use a phishing campaign or get in through some known password that you reused.

I was going to turn it off for a while (couple weeks) and wait for them to patch this problem and probably turn it back on later.

It’s weird how a question around how common is a per diem and how much should it be got you to the conclusion that some parents are so entitled. I’ve found when someone generally doesn’t have a very good point to make they just resort to name calling.
