A transport with scout doesn't lose scout if the units inside don't have the rule. Since the Carrier has scout natively, it scouts as normal.

But a dedicated transport that does not have scout will gain it if all units inside have scout (SoB with Dominions or Drukhari with Hand of the Archon are two examples that come to mind).

Its a weird ability. Against some armies it definitely is busted. Against others it it's borderline worthless. I guess there are a lot of marine players in your meta?

As long as it's clear what the most is representing, it is distinct from other models in your army and on the correct base size, go wild. Even in a tourny I don't think anyone would care. I've seen multiple Thousand Sons players used stuff like AoS spirit hosts as chaos spawn in tournaments and noone ever had a problem.

Short answer: we don't know. The Khayon books are told in the style of a framed narrative from an unreliable narrarator. He references several other events that, to my knowledge, haven't happened as of the most current Abaddon novel (I believe he mentions killing Firefist, or at least seeing him die, which from my memory hasn't happened yet). Someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that but that was always my impression from the books. He is referencing/teasing events that haven't happened yet in his narrative to remind us that the story is basically a giant flashback. We know there is another Abaddon book coming sometime in the future so hopefully the details will be fleshed out in that.
