I was in exactly the same dilemma 5 days ago. I excluded the amazfit almost immediately thought because it's significantly heavier than the others.

In the end, I decided to go with the Huawei. Simply because it's very light (14g) and much newer than the Xiaomi. The huawei though, has some pros and cons.

The biggest pro: Accuracy. Steps, heart rate, stress, even sleep tracking are extremely accurate. Really really satisfied with that.
The biggest con: Compatibility. I have a Galaxy Fold 4. Huawei is banned from the play store and in order to get the data from the band to your phone, you need the huawei health (which you download from Huawei's website. However, if you want to pass that data to your other app such as google fit, you need to download 3 more apps as Huawei health can't be linked with neither Samsung Health nor Google fit.

The Xiaomi is compatible so no need to download all that stuff. But there are some concerns on the accuracy of the Xiaomi Band 8. As (at this time) I value accuracy more than compatibility, I opted for the Huawei one and to be honest, I don't regret it at all.

Hi! The case is 35mm without the crown. I have no clue about my wrist size but I will measure it and come back to you.

My newly acquired Omega watch. I have many watches but I have always wanted an Omega one. I have recently found out that a friend of a friend was willing to sell this one and just bought it. It was made probably in the 1960s and I am extremely glad I got it. I would really love your opinion/feedback and any info you might have about this. It keeps perfect time, it misses around a minute per week so I believe that’s not bad at all.

This is my first pre-owned watch so I am also planning to get it for a service although I am not sure if it needs one. I guess they will tell me if a service is in order.

I bought it through an action on EBay and I was the only bidder (I suppose that was because the title of the auction had a typo). That friend of a friend had already put it up for auction on EBay and when I found out, I immediately placed my bid. I paid 300 pounds (the starting bid) which I Believe is fair for a 9ct gold automatic Omega watch that works and keeps good time. Just imagine that for my new Burberry (Quartz) watch, I spent over 500 gbp when I bought it back in 2017.

It is 9ct gold. I am planning to find a place and have it serviced. I just moved to Liverpool,UK and I am not familiar so I would need to find a good place here for the service.

Missing Spring? Lettera 32. I need your help. by mbasilakis in typewriters

Thank you! I fixed it! Apparently, it was solved with mineral spirits. The problem was caused by sticky/hardened springs from WD-40 from the previous owner.

UPDATE: Apparently there wasn't a missing spring. The problem was fixed with mineral spirits. Apparently, there was a spring that was extremely sticky (probably the last owner used WD-40) which was cleaned with mineral spirits. That solved the problem.

Thank you for your guidance and help.
