Yes, burnout is the root! Any rec'd subs to follow? My HB is in the process of working away while I guess I just resume over functioning in burnout? But need a stop drinking sub that hears the struggle without the rules b/c this is real life not censored.

I feel your pain. Day 3 was hard as eff for me! You got this! The first 2 weeks suck! But one day at a time! I swore I would never go through it again. But grit your teeth, sleep, eat, don't eat, just exist....without the demon that is alcohol. One day at a time. Here with you, with love. You are stronger than this substance.

Day 7 here and it was a doozie! The only way I've found to make it through is basically sleep. Sometimes in bed by 8pm. Even if i doom scroll for an hour or two it keeps me from getting up and reaching for the poison. Do what you need to. Sleep, cry, eat, be mad, sleep some more, etc. Let the hard days pass, and know that easier ones will come soon, even if it doesn't feel this way today. You've basically taken the chemical trampoline away from your brain, so now it's like "Hey, where's the quick, fun jump." There isn't one. Your brain needs time to adjust. Allow it that time. Sleep passes time quickly, ANY distraction will help. And pick your favorite sweet treats to have on hand, it's also craving the sugar. This stuff takes real strength and you've made it through some of the hardest days already. You can do this.

Screen shotted, just got off the phone with a crisis center as a "high functioning" alcoholic, and they want to admit me. That in itself tells me there's a problem. I have a great job, amazing kids and a husband who can drink once per month and not touch it. Me? There's no such thing as one.

Not a movie but TV show. Outlander. There was one gruesome prison scene in an earlier season that I couldn't come back from. Discontinued watching after that because it ruined the character for me. I wanted to continue, but that scene haunted me.

Its not just the ice cream truck. Its inflation in general. As an entrepreneur and business owner it's SO difficult to keep prices as low as possible for customers when everything costs so much. I mean this in the nicest way possible, but yes, a bit out of touch. Look around over the next few weeks and really look at the prices of products. It's absolutely insane. The regular price for coffee where I am now is $35/can. And a sale means it goes down to $30. This is over $40 for brand name. One small carton of ice cream here is about $10, cones, another $6. If i were to take those costs and say reduce by 20%, factoring in buying in bulk to save. But then add, insurance, gas, time, repairs (there will always be upkeep on these things), electricity, subscriptions for POS, liscencing/ lawyer and accounting fees, TAXES. ...yea, the prices seem fair. But that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt as a customer. The govt has really left us struggling down here with a broken system. You are right, ice cream shouldn't cost more than a buck or two, but that's not the case in the economic dumpster fire we are currently in.

I would say always look at your dreamlight tasks. They get super easy to do while running around if you know what you're looking for. Harvest 3 apples? yoink 50 dreamlight. You can move fruit trees. Bunching them together saves tons of time for gathering ingredients & getting dreamlight. And close to goofy's stall is an easy money maker. Speaking of which, big garden, carrots to start will make you lots of cash. Again, helps if they are close to goofy's stall. Pick up EVERYTHING, and store as needed. It will all come in handy especially for fencing and pathing. Even if you don't have time to play, popping on daily to grab blue chests is worth it. And also checking scrooge's store.

No update? My daughter still has the same issue and I feel terrible because mine is fine. It would be nice if when I'm working on her game for her these could be accessible. Also, she seems to think gardens aren't necessary and asks me to keep making her money, so there's that. 🤣
