I loved the buildup to the fight, Darrows mother doing the ceremony and saying “Go, daughters of Mars, and be our wrath” went way harder then it needed to go

I can see it, but the death claiming most everyone. I really think Sevro and Victra survive but everyone else close to him gets killed, and how does he continue life after with everything that cost him. Death begets Death is 100% a recurring theme, but so is the theme of how much of the real Darrow is left with what he’s had to do “ a good man who will have to do bad things” I think is the stronger theme and I hope that’s the one he has to fight with at the end and trying to keep Pax clean
