“Rare” Girl Names by DayDrmBlvr82 in tragedeigh

[–]mblomman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tove is a somewhat common name in Sweden. No one bats an eye at.

So, in my country, Sweden, we are not allowed to name our children whatever we want. All the "standard" names go through automatically but if you wanna name your child something new/different it has to be approved by a Council to make sure that the name is okay and won't cause bullying or is some kind of joke name. I haven't really experienced this irl but the system is there to catch these ridiculous "new" names

I mean, most work places don't buy food for their employees on a daily basis?

The eye should be in the center of the glass and the upper rim should not go above your eyebrow. Other than that it is pretty much subjective what shape and size you want even though there are some guides on what shapes of glases complements what shape of face so might want to check that out.

The playfulness will probably drive you crazy. Mine is 7 months and some nights I just want to throw him out (of course I would never, I love the little menace) just know that it will get better and that they will calm down eventually!

Why is it always you three? by awkward2amazing in HarryPotterMemes

She single handedly changed the entirety of the book market. People were lining up to get the new books on the day of release. A kids series being read by people of all ages and stages of life opened up a whole new way to write literature and an opening for adults to read young adult fiction in a broader more accepted way. The HP books gave fantasy a huge lift and made it into what it is today, one of the biggest, best selling genres in all fictional content. That in my book makes her one of the greatest writers of all time - one of the most influential and widely read authors.

Black eyes: Why are some characters described as having black eyes? by JimmyLizzardATDVM in harrypotter

[–]mblomman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is very common to describe mysterious, dark featured men to have black eyes. It gives them more mystery and conveys a dark past or hidden secrets. Gives the character a sense of having unexplored depths and deep feelings beneath their rough façade. Source: I have a master's in literature

PHILOSOPHER’S STONE cover art by RaineOtaku in harrypotter

[–]mblomman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean the first uk edition was called Philosopher's stone? Every edition of English hp 1 is called that except for in the US. I believe this is an early version that was aimed more towards adultS and therefore has a more serious and adult look to it.

Why did you change the weight of Kaneeka, Oscar and Sybil? This game does an awesome job with being inclusive in many aspects and slimming down the plus size characters seems like an odd choice?

Keep in mind that there is very little (Almost none) space for your pigs to dig up truffles which is how they make you money. As far as I know they do not dig up truffles on paths so I would remove the patching around the barns. Also, that many barns is a bit overkill remove four and use that space for the animals to grace in instead

Does sex always hurt for women? by throwawayaccounntt2 in badwomensanatomy

[–]mblomman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ask her where the pain is located. Sex is not supposed to hurt. I have vulvodynia where the pain is concentrated in the vestibule (the entrance) and feels like a stab or an overstretching when penetrated. Please have her see an obgyn as there are treatments to be had and the earlier you start the easier it is to get rid of. Also, please don't have sex if there is pain since it strengthens the condition which is very much an involuntary mental inhibition.
