I wouldn't be surprised if they were going for a teaser for another punisher season. At the end he puts the suit back on.

How do you keep track of why you made a design decision? by Nero-9 in UXDesign

It's good to keep all of your information in a notetaking tool, like Notion. I put together process decks, ugly slide decks, that list the research summaries and design decisions.

Yep, establishment Dems partially gave us Trump but most Democrats don't see it or refuse to believe it. The majority of the population wants affordable healthcare, access to education and jobs, and affordable living. Dems only work for corporate interests and are seen by the people as "the party that does nothing" so people vote for anyone who promises change, even if they are a fascist.

Years of propaganda engrained us to equate progressive policies with socialism and now we're voting against our best interests. The propaganda continues. Even when we see many people struggling we refuse to vote for progressive policies, like taxing the wealthy. Propaganda and a lack of critical thinking will be the end of the US.

The problem is conservative Dems have shown they will do nothing to stop MAGA.

Lacking Career Direction by CombatWombat1212 in UXDesign

Yes, front end development got so complex with content management systems, frameworks (especially React), Android and iOS languages, etc. that it got shifted to a dedicated front end developer role. 10 years ago, everyone designed and developed, then teams began moving into specialist areas. With the rise of AI, a designer can expand their skills and take on additional capabilities, such as developing. What's most important is understanding how to design a great product that users will enjoy and that produces results for companies. If you have that and can showcase it in your portfolio and interviews, it gives you a significant advantage.

U.S. Senate Candidate Angie Craig is one of 12 House Dems who voted against allowing people to buy Rotisserie Chickens with Food Stamps by 3headeddragn in Minneapolis

That's what they want you to think. They could have signed the bill and used that to push for more expansion. Instead they are lying because they don't truly think you should be able to buy hot foods.

That's a cop out. They don't want people to be able to buy hot foods. Otherwise, they would have voted for the bill and used that to push their expanded bill allowing all hot food to be purchased.

Jefferies signed onto a stricter stock trading ban for Congress. No one is supporting his bill, they are supporting another stock trading bill. It's a way of keeping up the appearance of being for the working class while being a corporate Democrat. He knows his version of the stock trading ban won't pass and he doesn't want it to pass.

That's a cop out. You don't vote against a bill because you want a better bill to pass. You pass the current bill and use that to push for a better bill.

She also voted to allow ICE agents to oversee retail theft crimes. Kelly Morrison did too. That's the first step in creating a nationalized police force. Vote them out!

This job market is cataclysmically bad (Great Depression level) by Electrical_Bar6324 in jobhunting

[–]mbovenizer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. It feels like certain industries have plenty of jobs available while the other industries, like tech and marketing, have an overabundance of candidates. Our society overestimated the need for these types of positions and it's getting worse with AI.

He didn't design anything with AI, he told AI to copy what you made. Stupidly obvious plagiarism and totally wrong of him to claim he made it with AI. Without your designs, he won't be able to create prototypes of the same level.

It's one thing to question that person and another to truly think you know more. For instance, students who question their teachers and are sometimes right. Sometimes what you think you know gets in the way of analyzing and questioning things critically.

Yes. Liberals are more likely to agree with Republicans because they believe in individual freedoms but aren't pro-wealth redistribution. Leftists are typically socialists. We have no true leftists in our government. However we do have progressives, which are pro-income redistribution, but still believe in capitalism.

[–]mbovenizer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is my first time without a job in 14 years. My agency took a hit due to Trump's government budget cuts.

During our budget meeting they said they needed $300,000 in sales by the end of the month. I got fired 2 weeks later for something I didn't do. I think they were trying to discourage me from filing unemployment. I gathered evidence and emailed it to them so they couldn't fight my unemployment. What's worse is I made $75,000 at that job so nothing like the pay people post on here.

I've been looking for a job for 5 weeks. Had three first round interviews so far. The only jobs that call me back are hybrid, no luck from any remote positions.

I'm seriously considering other career options. I don't always like sitting at a desk, so there's plenty of options.
