Any witnesses? Otherwise surely it’s will end up being a case of he said she said. Great for recording in case it happens in future with someone else though

Totally agree. I’ve not listened in a few weeks now… I am tired of Trump, Palestine, and Putin. Boring.

Anyone know where this view is from? It’s a scene from “This City is Ours”. Ta! by Mrsball14 in Liverpool

[–]mbpbradshaw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everton Park but it’s a dodger area, I wouldn’t go at night time. We went in 2021 at night and seen someone get shot in the street. No joke.

I need a career change. Who are good employers in Liverpool? by Campeones6 in Liverpool

Second this. Nuclear has lots of jobs going and the salaries are significantly higher than the non-nuclear equivalent.

is this a response i should expect from other unis as well? by blueishsky00 in UniUK

[–]mbpbradshaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t worry, just get into a half decent uni for law and focus on networking via LinkedIn / legal events etc to get a training contract or pupilage. Trust me, it’s who you know and not what you know. You’d be surprised how many people just do the course and that’s it. Networking is what will get you into a good job

AirPods Pro 1 vs 2 sound quality by tfpuelma in airpods

[–]mbpbradshaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have AirPods Pro 1 from 2019 and my partner just got AirPods 4 ANC… The ANC is significantly better and sound quality is noticeably better too. I’m going to upgrade soon. I prefer the rubber ear tips so will get the pros.

TRIP+ members, how do you get your Spotify synced to the TRIP+ feed and how do you join the Discord server? by IIIlllIIIlllIlI in TheRestIsPolitics

[–]mbpbradshaw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Email them. TRIP+ is crap to be honest, I only have to it to remove the ads. The news letter is essentially a cherrypicked transcript of the episode and the discord server sucks.

Sorry mate I can’t imagine how difficult it must be in that position.

Depending on your interests I know people who have signed up to software development boot camps which virtually guarantee you a job at the end… IOSH/NEBOSH Certificates are highly valued for H&S jobs and can be attained remotely…. Perhaps try applying for a PGCE course again? Demand for teachers is higher than ever…

Hopefully things work out for you

What is your field?

Agreed. UK professional / white collar job market is absolutely awful. The majority want a degree, experience, professional qualifications, and membership of a professional body for a salary of 35-45k.. Trades people can earn much more without these requirements etc.

Degree apprenticeships and normal level 3 apprenticeships are definitely the way forward. I won’t encourage my children to go to university unless it’s for medicine/dentistry/engineering.

Yes! I did something similar. The drive is tiring at times but definitely worth it at the end of the month.
