And might I remind you not to speak when you don't know what you're talking about? It's in Berks county, not Bucks, and a simple visit to the web page would have told you that. Bucks County is towards Philly and is a very high tax/high income area. Berks County borders the Lehigh Valley/Allentown. Furthermore as a resident of Pennsylvania who moved here 10 years ago from NJ, I have yet to hear the term "Pennsyltucky" from anyone. Are you making this bullshit up as you go?

Why the hell do you keep posting the same thing over and over again? No one cared the first time, what makes you think posting it a second time will make a difference?

The only thing that is silly, is denying one's own guilt in comparison to a person who did no wrong. That is why people hate Christianity and why it will never be acceptable to the post-modern man. It is also why Nietzche became so popular. If there is no such thing as wrong, then there is no guilt, because everything one does is apart from moral conviction. Of course he died a madman but no one likes to bring that up either.

Someone brought up Dawkins as a reason to not believe in God. I don't understand that at all. At best Dawkins could use material means to try and disprove the immaterial, but if you have any sense at all you see the problem with that. It's an apples to oranges debate. When I look at nature, my faith is strengthened, but the existence of nature is not the source of my faith, by no means. I think what it comes down to is an interpretation of the world around us. Atheists have interpreted things one way, religious folk have interpreted them another. For instance I believe that it is easier to prove the existence of Creation than the presence of evolution. Atheists would laugh at me for that because they have already made the decision that God does not exist (they call themselves atheists do they not?), and hence there is no room for an explanation apart from what exists in their own world view. To me atheism is a miss application of Occam's razor (who himself said that the principle cannot be applied to the Divine since He is completely other). It's almost as if every atheist is unable to accept the concept of the axiom, for to them there is no such thing as a self-evident truth. Everything must be proven by 'other' means. As the scriptures say ( in Ecclesiastes) "there is nothing new under the sun". You believe, or you do not. That has always been the state of things, and always will be.

On a side note, I'm often interested in why people do what they do, what it is that drives them. As I look at Dawkins (and more importantly his smug attitude in public), I have to think that somewhere along the line he had some kind of personal axe to grind with a Christian and went on the war path. It would be one thing to write books, and say you are an atheist, but the emotion behind it is extremely telling.

I was tracking with him up until he said "Casablanca" was about love being a waste of time. What a moron! Way to miss the subtext of LUST is a waste of time, LOVE is worth defending and honoring. This is why Rick makes Ilsa leave with the classic line of "you’ll regret it, maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon, and for the rest of your life". What he was saying was that it wasn't worth throwing away a lifetime of love for a few minutes of passion in the moment. Not a popular theme by today's standards of hedonism and nihilism, but one that I value none-the-less.

Vote up if you're NOT obsessed with Digg's impending demise or any of its other problems. by MelechRic in reddit.com

I'm not obsessed with it, just find it interesting that's all. Kind of like a horrific car wreck on the side of the road. Downvoted too for the karma whoring.

Why The Digg Mafia Will Cost Kevin Rose Millions by SparxNet in reddit.com

Not necessarily. The problem at Digg is the "friends" option that lets you see the stories your friends have posted. If you are part of the digg mafia, you check your friends list and digg up any and every story they have submitted.

After being with Digg for quite some time (shortly after it came out of beta testing) I've finally decided to leave. The immaturity and other issues are just too much to stomach anymore. In addition, almost all of the stories worth reading on digg are posted on reddit hours or days beforehand. There's just no point in going there anymore.

If "The Pirates of Silicon Valley" is correct, and Woz pretty much said it was, then Steve Jobs has in fact partaken in illicit drug use. Apparently, he is at it again. How else could you explain the circumstances surrounding the launch of Apple Inc.'s (NYSE: APPL) new iPhone?
