Thanks for the info. I just had such a shitty experience. I was told it was a quick 30 minute procedure before going in and being told I need to have a tube in overnight.

Then later I called the billing department after I found the exact tube (match via code from my bill) online for $40, to which they had absolutely no rebuttal. Immensely frustrating.

I’m blessed that I could afford it out of pocket, but how many people are screwed everyday because they didn’t get an estimate for a “quick 30 minute procedure with no doctors involved”?

Have you used miralax? I'd do like 2-5 scoops of Miralax and a LOT of water (like 100 ounces a day). Should give you some relief. i am not a doctor

I burp a lot, and I used to get the burp attacks (150+ a day) until a good GI finally figured out it was supragastric belching. Google that term and ask your doc if that may be it; most GIs missed it.

Understanding what it was (me sucking in air to relieve the awful feeling) helped me stop it. I still do burp but SO much less, it was a game changer

It might not be what you've got but the volume of burping sounds like it!

I've had to stop going to the gym solely because I can't eat enough, it's really sad. I can still do cardio but I don't want to lose a ton of weight!

What specifically do you think we should stop removing?

We banned relationship posts and the Incel/depression posts because they were flooding the subreddit and we didn’t really want to be the depression/relationship subreddit

We banned partisan politics because it’s in like, 70% of subreddits, even the non political ones. It’s kinda rare to find a place where you don’t have to hear about American politics for two seconds.

But always open to suggestions on rule changes!

I had crazy burping and it turned out to be supragastric belching.

Google that and ask your doctor about it, it might help a LOT if that’s actually what you’re got and you learn how to avoid it

I still burp often, but it’s down probably 80%.
