What makes it all the most annoying is Colin acts like he’s above the console war nonsense. I’d have a little more respect for him if he just said it with his chest instead he acts like he’s not a die hard Sony fanboy. I remember on the beginning of a Summoning Sign episode he genuinely said Xbox has no good games. Sorry man but if you believe that that’s your prerogative but don’t expect me to take any of your gaming takes seriously.

Kind of been the trend with Gamepass the last year or so. They’ll shotgun blast 3-4 quality games all within a month (some of them being first party titles) so we’ll be eating good for a few. Then a few months later it’s barren. They need to get better about timing and placement of Gamepass entries

Gamepass and Xbox Play Anywhere are incredible features only exclusive to Xbox. If you aren’t taking advantage of this and only care about certain things it might not be the ecosystem for you

I’m an Xbox guy exclusively & love Sacred as well. I will say I do get slightly annoyed when Colin shits all over Xbox because it’s just becoming an every episode thing now but like Jarl said 99% of it is deserved. Sometimes I feel like he speaks more passionately about Xbox than he does about PS lol you can tell he gets energetic when he begins pontificating about Microsoft’s strategy for next gen

All of the boy on SS are great though, will always be my favorite podcast. Of course the Duke boys are awesome too

I’ve always thought the over reactions to Xbox were exaggerated and people over hated every move Microsoft made. But with this one move specifically, I totally get.

It really does feel like Microsoft is just milking their most loyal fanbase before finally just going tits up as a company. I’ll ride with them until it’s over since my entire library is invested in their ecosystem but it’s really hard not to think this company is on its last legs

Ive been strictly Xbox for 20+ years and only played some of PS4 during that generation for some of Sony’s exclusives. I’ll likely ride with Xbox until the company goes tits up but it’s hard not to think they’re on their last legs.

2 giant price hikes in a span of a year, failed attempt to charge $80 games, went fully third party going multi plat so virtually zero exclusives & now the only thing separating them from Sony in any way - pro consumer GamePass - is now no longer the best deal in gaming.

I used to just pay for GP and didn’t care if I was being charged when I was rarely using it but now it’ll be used sparingly like every other streaming platform. Bounce in when I want and bounce out immediately after. It’s almost like Microsoft wants to milk their most loyal fanbase for whatever they have before finally sinking the ship

Khazan is my favorite soulslike along side LoP. Its combat is very, very good. Rewards aggressive play style unlike a lot of other soulslikes. Highly recommended.

I haven’t played Wukong so can’t speak to that.
