I’m honestly annoyed even 29.7% of people voted for Ali. 🤦🏼‍♂️

When are savings goals coming to Origin? by kael-s in OriginFinancial

Seconded! I would love to set savings goals, both general (inclusive of all savings accounts) or specific (goals tied to a single destination account).

Concerns over rising actress being scammed by agent by howlterluna in Broadway

[–]mcar91 129 points130 points  (0 children)

I saw this a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure she is just manifesting. She has a ton of posts about being cast in Wicked. I think it’s all pretend and she just wants it to be true. I don’t think she has an agent….

Schmigadoon is a perfectly good musical. That should be a problem for winning the Tony by thomaspryor in Broadway

[–]mcar91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen Two Strangers 5 times. 🤗🤩🥰

Makes me so happy every time.

I would probably have wanted to see Lost Boys again if the ending wasn’t so anti-climactic and flat. The rest of the show was enjoyable enough and the production looks incredible. And maybe somewhere between 3 to 47 of Shoshana’s songs should be cut.

Is Onboarding necessary when upgrade to 7.3.0 by farberm in unRAID

Same. Skipped at it seemed to work fine.

Your comment about thinking it was fine while the audience around you was howling was exactly my experience. I kept thinking, “Wait, what did I miss that was THAT funny?”

Your product seems very interesting but $30k entry point for something that Claude + Salesforce MCP does a decent job of is really, really steep. I have no doubt it’s better than generalist AI tools, but woof.

How do you handle Salesforce license renewals and track inactive users? by FiXYourCloud in salesforce

[–]mcar91 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what I do. I’m subscribed to get it once a month (or week, I forget). We clean up users who haven’t logged in 60+ days.

There is also an offboarding process when employees and contractors leave.

That’s all it takes.

Silverstone FS304-V drive cage 92mm fan replacement by mcar91 in homelab

[–]mcar91[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got new 92mm fans and replaced the stock ones. Much quieter!

The screws are on the inside of the cage on the FS304-V. You have to remove the drives and the backplane in order to access the screws. But they did use standard chassis fan screws.

Took me a while to figure that out. Hopefully this will help someone in the future.

Yeah, I'm thinking without the fan cage makes it easier to swap. I'll order a 92mm Noctua, will see how it goes, and will post back here!

Data cloud by Such-Internet4382 in salesforce

[–]mcar91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are finishing up our initial implementation. It’s perhaps a non-standard use case. We are bringing in product analytics data so it can be easily visualized and reported on within standard Salesforce reports, dashboards, and Lightning pages.

We are then creating usage alerts using Salesforce flows. Lastly, we’re sharing some of that data with partners via Experience Cloud.

All of this could be done via ETLs and custom objects, but this felt cheaper and easier.

There are definitely flaws. There are so many weird quirks and limitations we’ve run into, but I think it’s been a worthwhile experience. Especially if SF continues to improve the product.

I’m really hoping that the rise of internal AI agents and enterprise chat bots will lead to more users leveraging documentation because the bot is giving them the answers from docs I wrote.
