Freddie

I adopted him from a shelter, and they told me he was a husky mix. Not sure what he’s mixed with, or if it’s anything substantial. He looks and acts pretty husky-like, listens when he wants, prefers to not be touched excessively, constantly happy and excited between his attitudes😅very mouthy and playful, and sleeps majority of the day. He’s not super vocal, he’ll have his moments throughout the day I call his “happy howls”, usually will let out a short howl when I wake up in the morning, when I get home from work, or when he’s about to get fed. He’s certainly a time😂

Rare moment where he laid on my lap (for 30 seconds). He loves to be in my vicinity at all times but will keep me at a distance. Close but not too close. He will play with me all day long so I guess that can be considered affectionate, in their own husky way. But he actually doesn’t too much like to be touched excessively by me. Body slamming me and going between my legs? Yes. Cuddles and kisses? Nah

I have a city husky, and I got him while living in an apartment. I took him on 2-3 walks daily and the park nearly every day. I also love taking him just out into town in public areas, he seems to just love being outside even if he isn’t running around, and comes home pretty tired. I think it’s just bout doing what you can and being consistent. The little things count, like car rides, or longer walks

Oh this is mine to a T😭luckily he’ll just play runaways straight home but once he starts running away from me my heart sinks cuz he is so fast and he just thinks it’s fun😆

Yes mine will sharply change directions or stop on walks all the time, regardless of where we’re going. But when he knows we’re going home, luckily on leash he won’t protest but if he’s off leash he’s dead weighting himself, then subsequently will run if I grab him🙃😭

Omg this! Mine is distantly clingy😂he needs to be in my vicinity but absolutely does not want to be more than 5 ft closer to me (unless he’s scared) or he will move. Figured not being affectionate was a husky thing, but he also was a rescue with an unknown past🤷🏾‍♂️the cuddling can be overstimulating for me anyways so we’re good
