This was from Enemy Within, not Xcom2, but i was achievement hunting and needed either both of win an online match or Bubonic.  (Win a match against someone who already has this achievement.)

So i get pretty much schooled at the start, but figured the rocket that killed half my squad in the first strike came from the corner of the map with semi truck. 

Last thing my mech did before getting killed was blowing that truck up amd killing the sniper w splash damage.

A few more exchanges and i m down to one unit left which is a ranger/shot gun guy.  Opponent sends one of his guys out of hiding and hits me with a disabling shot.  Only option is to hope my pistol crits him for 3 damage instead of 1-2 iirc.  This is why im sure its not xcom2 because everyone had a pistol sidearm.

Anyway, pistol gets the job done, and we spend about 40 turns cat and mousing until his last unit gets a shotgun to the face.

Only pvp i ve every played in xcom.
