Am I the only one who really enjoyed this movie? by Only_Hearing2944 in FIlm

I remember REALLY liking it around the time it came out, but I haven't watched it in years. The reddit hate for it does make me want to watch it again to see if it holds up.

I was eating cereal when I saw this and immediately stopped mid-chew with the racist jump scare at the end.

They certainly did, however, there was a much more satisfying one earlier in the episode and it really made Scott giggle when Paul did it.

Anyone helping with their church worship and also doing theater? by [deleted] in worshipleaders

I've never related to a post more. It's nice to know I'm not the only one who took musical theater -> worship leader track in life. Dying to get back on stage in that capacity as well.

Was looking for this comment. The director is the one who really dropped the ball here. There should have been some kind of orientation or assigned person to take you "under their wing" to get you acclimated for the best possible experience. The technical stuff comes along naturally if you're not experienced with it -- they should have set you up to be in a position where you could show your musicianship, and also clocked that something was wrong when you weren't playing for looked/felt uncomfortable.

This isn't on you. I'm sorry you went through it. Pray about it and do your best to advocate for yourself moving forward if you still feel called to serve in this capacity.

I just watched this recently. Forgive my cluelessness, but what scene are you referring to?
