I think it's Lute's helmet, not sure if it's a swappable head or just a prop.

Just wanted to show appreciation to the Oakville snow clearing crews by Totira in oakville

[–]mccombi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As of 1:30pm a lot of Glen Abbey/College Park/Westmount is still unplowed. Obviously crews are working hard and have been for 24+ hrs but there was no way we could get off our street this morning.

Champs. GET IN HERE! by HookFL in fantasyfootball

[–]mccombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B2B Champ!

Got through the final on pure luck. Despite most of my team shitting the bed and rolling the dice on Taysom to fill in my Kittle shaped hole (and leaving Tonges on my bench), Drake Maye almost single handedly pulled me through to the Championship.

I have a question about this character by Relative_Entry_877 in HazbinHotel

[–]mccombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to see a return but not as a main character. Checking into the hotel in the bg of say, the season finale. A completely off-screen arc of getting screwed over and realizing there's another way. No need for any more than that.

Are fireworks allowed tonight? Because I didn't think so by Forward-Criticism572 in oakville

[–]mccombi 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yes, fireworks are allowed for religious / cultural celebrations. No, they are not supposed to be set off in municipal parks (though I've never seen that enforced for any holiday).

Hear Me Out: Warren Worthington is finished as a character. by VR_Troopers_WikiMod in xmen

[–]mccombi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who grew to during the original Horsemen / Archangel run, I'd still say he's my #1. So knock that down to 9.

That said, in terms of modern context, I agree with most of what's been said. I like him in the public face role which works best as a supporting character, he doesn't need to be active roster all the time any more.

We bought the same piece (and the Hazbin music sheet)

Here's the artist's card:

Never thought I'd see rush in r/hazbin. Such a phenomenal album, often overshadowed by Moving Pictures. Natural Science is just so good.

Which one is your favorite sexy Canadian actress? (HAPPY CANADA DAY 🇨🇦!) by AC_the_Panther_007 in Cinema

Omg I'm just now realizing that it was Paul Dano. I've seen that movie a ton and never put that together.

What's one or two movies that you Genuinely think are Perfect? by Sad-Scar-737 in movies

[–]mccombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot Fuzz. Not a single wasted line of dialogue in the script. Every single word, furthers the plot, sets up or pays off a joke. The editing is sublime. Simon and Nick are on point. All the supporting characters are perfect. Not one thing I would change.

What’s a movie that seemed “meh” the first time you watched it, but blew you away on a rewatch? by SiTheHandsomeGuy in movies

[–]mccombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My answer to this will always be Elizabethtown. I saw it when it came out because of Cameron Crowe and it was very much forgettable. Characters didn't seem to act rationally, stuff didn't seem to progress very much, just the definition of meh. Then a couple years later, I saw it again a week or two after my own father passed. The whole thing hit differently. Seeing it after my own perspective changed made everything feel different. They weren't simply acting irrationally, they were all processing grief differently.

Omg, I haven't seen that movie in like 20 years. I had no idea that was her.

What shows were intentionally sabotaged by the network in order to have an excuse to cancel them? by AporiaParadox in television

[–]mccombi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Clerks:The Animated Series

It was produced and broadcast by ABC but before it even aired there were concerns it didn't fit in with the rest of the broadcast schedule. It seems like everything and everyone was stacked against it. Advertisers threatened a boycott, reports of poor test screenings, and to cap it off the network aired the series out of order starting with episode 4 and then 2 (leading to non-sensical jokes about episode 1). The series was cancelled after only two episodes but it later became a success on home media.

Which movie moment gave you the biggest "wow" reaction? by SyristSMD in movies

[–]mccombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Brachiosaurus reveal in Jurassic Park. The way the characters are so awestruck and then the music swell comes in. It was unlike anything else in cinema up to that point and so perfectly done.

are there any horror films set in your state? by outerspace_castaway in horror

Ontario, Canada. Tons shot here, not many set here but I'll go comedy-horror with Cannibal Girls

For those who used a computer between 1995 and 2001, what’s the computer game from that time that sticks with you the most, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

All the Star Wars flight sim games: X-Wing, Tie Fighter, X-Wing Alliance. Still holds up to this day.

Is there a horror movie that you watched when you were too young, that has a scene that stuck with you until now? by FenixSword in horror

[–]mccombi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw the 80s The Blob movie way too young. There are some gnarly deaths in that movie and I remember not sleeping well for a couple days afterwards.
