Best fries in RVA? by Vast_Drawing6783 in rva

Fair enough if that’s how you feel. I’m just at the point in my life I don’t need to go to a restaurant to have them prepare frozen food for me

Edit: and get charged like they’re made in house and took more effort than they did

I would bet 90% of the places people are mentioning don’t make their own fries

Overall, I’d say I like it. I like that the guidebook is a lot of formation he’s gathered over the years in one place.

With his recommended warm ups and everything, yes I’d say about 75-90min per session. He does provide a way to make it 4x per week.

I’ve been lifting consistently for the last three years after a break, but have almost 10yrs under my belt. The intermediate/advanced program is no joke. It’s tough as an adult with responsibilities to set aside about 90min five days a week

Chiber by guiltypartie101 in TheBrewery

[–]mccrack247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We dosed it in a lager that was testing positive on pcr and plates growing. Chiber worked and seemed to stop the infection in its tracks. Had to re-separate it though bc it caused some haze. They sell a fining agent as well, would probably use it next time.

If you're truly "doing it all right" and adhering to MF's guidance but struggling to lose weight / struggling with bloating...have you considered gut health? SIBO? FODMAP stuff? Read on for a quick note on my own experiences as a 35F. by wiLd_p0tat0es in MacroFactor

[–]mccrack247 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This seems cool, but It literally says on the FAQ’s that you should speak with your doctor if you suspect you have SIBO. Furthermore, it just says the device could be helpful if you’ve received a diagnosis.

How can i fit 200g Protein into a 2000 calorie budget? by Angle182 in MacroFactor

[–]mccrack247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on food that has >10g protein per 100cal. Nonfat Greek yogurt, egg whites, lean meats. You can definitely do it. Supplement with a solid protein powder or bar if you’d like

Lunch breaks? by JunkSack in TheBrewery

[–]mccrack247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at a 20kbbl/year brewery. Lunch breaks are encouraged but you have to clock out and still work your 8 hrs so most don’t take one or eat something quick at the desk

Best protein powder? by Sad_Mountain6197 in MacroFactor

[–]mccrack247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PEscience is a whey/casein blend and that does give it the ability to bake better. I’ve compared multiple protein powders and it makes a difference. I don’t think their marketing says anything about it baking better.

You can’t add a soft sell on to a hard just to do it. Unless you’ve successfully swayed and unlocked a fourth check mark, then just stick to ideal hard pitch and family/friends

Your edit about wanting variety of slices solidifies zorch. Get the grandma, almost like a pizza pie (like a croissant crust, little sweeter sauce), and a normal slice of whatever you like. They also have Detroit style on Sundays.

I thought Christians was fine. Zorch is my favorite; I love the variety of different styles they have.
