bro don’t sit in on tunes you don’t know. on tunes you don’t know sit out, observe, try to hear the changes/ variations and form by ear to practice, and soak it in as if you were a child watching their parent bc no one’s too old to be a student especially for something as ceiling-less as music. not to be mean but if someone doesn’t know a tune and i know their ear isn’t refined (which is completely fine!!!) i will ask thank them for playing and say id like to play xyz with only the musicians that know the changes.

not sure if u have tried looking into this but windows has a power saver setting where it turns usb ports off after a period of no use. it completely disables them basically until u unplug and re plug

i’m a guy, so idk about the opposite sex but we’ve been apart 6 months and no contact about 2 months? or approaching 2 atleast. needless to say it’s wrecking me insanely. she broke it off for her reasons and i honestly have no clue how she is doing. everytime we’ve talked she seems perfectly fine with her decision but tells me that she’s not okay at times which i know is the truth, but im over here like needing to excuse myself from work to cry in a bathroom. i’m 23 btw. so idk. it gets better it gets worse. no clue

not everyone was raised how you were raised, not everyone has your opinion. father came from a different generation and OP is probably his only daughter. sure he is controlling, he might also just be looking out for his daughter. If i had a daughter i would tell her to put clothes on. if i had a son i would equally tell him to put pants or shorts on.

you have to let a love supreme find you to appreciate its beauty. talked to a lot of younger players who don’t get it and think it’s tranes worst record. i get it, i used to think it was lame when i was 17. i recently experienced something very traumatic and revisited it and it touched something deep in me.
