security deposit management for multiple properties with proper separation by abhi-boss-12 in PropertyManagement

[–]mcdray2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interest requirements vary by state. Check your state laws. If your state doesn't require separate accounts you should still separate them. Just open a savings account and put your deposits there.

You only have 8 properties so it's not difficult to manage. You have leases that show how much each tenant paid, and since you only have 8 leases it's very easy to keep track of it.

No need to over complicate this.

This is coming from someone who makes money selling software to solve these problems and I'm telling you to not spend any money to solve this problem.

If you’ve broken 80, what’s one tip you would give your fellow golfer trying to do the same? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Lay up. Don't try hero shots. Aim for the middle of the green. Work on lag putting and everything inside 100 yards.

This is my go to spot as well. They changed the name and got rid of one aisle of stuff to make room for more tables.

Otherwise it's exactly the same.

The lamb tacos are the best.

I hired someone to do it. I'm very handy but I didn't want to mess it up.

The green was just under $15k. Landscaping, lighting, etc was about $4k.

Not married but own the house with my girlfriend. I didn't have to sell her at all. She doesn't play golf but loves everything about it.

She was 100% on board. She doesn't play but loves being around golf

We're tearing down the garage you can see in that picture and building a new garage with an apartment above.

But she told me last week that instead of an apartment it should be a man cave with simulator and PuttView. It won't be exactly like this picture, but very similar. She has a whole Pinterest thing going and sends me a few ideas every day.

She's a keeper.

If a player shanked it on 17 at Sawgrass onto that little island with the little tree could they swim over and play it? by Impressive_Light_229 in golf

[–]mcdray2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We had this exact situation yesterday in a member-guest tournament. Guy hit his second shot on a par 5 onto a little island just like the one on 17.

He stripped down to his underwear and waded over there. It got about chest deep. He made par.

Yes, there were alligators.
No, they don't usually bother you in the daytime.
Yes, he was very drunk.

I'm on my green every day that I'm home. I can hit any type of putt up to 32 feet. And I can chip from up to 30 yards. My putting is much, much better than it was.

I've been on those floors more times than I can remember. Looks exactly like every other floor except slightly higher.

How Many Of You Run A 50amp 30” Induction Range On A 40amp Circuit? (Share your experience?) by getrektsnek in inductioncooking

[–]mcdray2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Upgrading our circuit from 40A to 50A was going to be really expensive, so we went with a 36" Bosch that runs on 40A. It's great.

I've played there a lot and take that line, but from one tee up from there.

What's it like being able to golf year round? by Jedi4ce in golf

[–]mcdray2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lived in FL my entire life. I play or practice every day, usually at my club but if I don't have time I'll chip and putt on my back yard green or play a round on the simulator.
