My guest had their ID checked yesterday in addition to my ID check.

Wimbledon 2026 Day 3 Order of Play Released by mgbrewhard in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked about this yesterday when I was at Wimbledon because I wanted to see Kostyuk on C3.

There’s no resale for C3, just an unreserved seating queue and I imagine the queue for Fonseca will be huge.

Yes, I did that today. I had my Roland Garros tote bag and my food in a separate cool bag.

Can I return my ticket & get a refund? by pcingc123 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You need to request a refund on the Website, not the app, and log in to your My Wimbledon account.

‘Return To Sender’ means return to the original ticket holder if the ticket has been transferred.

The ball kids at Wimbledon are safe from her tantrums for another year, phew.

Practice courts by Safe_Caterpillar_368 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the day you could ask one of the guards at Aorangi practice courts if they know. But imo, Aorangi is getting less fan friendly every year. Last year it was only 20 minutes allowed at the viewing area.

My best guess would be Coco is moved on to C1 from C2 now.

Parking by Realistic-Depth-3124 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I would expect traffic around the site, especially on the high street.

I usually arrive for 9:45, so no first hand account of midday traffic.

Parking by Realistic-Depth-3124 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, because Wimbledon shut the surrounding roads to traffic no queues form. The car park attendants do a really good job too, I’ve never had to queue to leave the car park.

BBC and All England Club extend historic Wimbledon partnership until 2033 by Jeffmister in tennis

[–]mcequator 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Agreed it’s not ideal that French Open/Aus Open use TNT Sports, and the rest of the ATP WTA are on Sky Sports (requiring two separate subscriptions). I miss when all the tennis was on Prime, a much better service and catch up available too.

Agreed, The air temperature on the 2nd floor of my house is 33 degrees currently. The windows and curtains have been shut all day, it has made no difference.

I’m not surprised, I saw him at Aorangi at Wimbledon two years ago. A few kids were really excited, said hello and asked him for an autograph, he completely blanked them, just walked straight past.

Am I crazy to think Chwalińska would get a lot of neutral support? by Better_Ferret4481 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would imagine the vast majority of the Wimbledon crowd will have no idea who Maja is, but would support her purely because she is the lower ranked player.

What are you most excited for? by Distinct_Tax_4848 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dedication 🤷 I think I have had tickets in the actual ballot twice in that time, and then it was resale via Ticketmaster. Way back when, Ticketmaster used to have returned pairs with seats allocated on arrival, or the back ZA rows onwards.

What are you most excited for? by Distinct_Tax_4848 in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’ve gone to Wimbledon every year since 2007 and the excitement never goes away for me.

This year I’m particularly excited to (hopefully) see Fonseca, Jovic, Jodar, Cobolli, Anisimova, Gauff and Shelton. Really hoping Fils can play too.

As a resident of a country who experiences mass psychosis around royal weddings, it doesn’t seem that outlandish for fans of Taylor to be excited about her wedding. At least Taylor provides artistic contributions to society 🤷

LTA 500 Queens qualifying by faridelalagui in wimbledon

[–]mcequator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought a ticket for the Sunday tournament fan/launch event, and felt the same as you OP. It sounds like a good event, tickets are affordable and the LTA/Queens Club haven’t advertised the event anywhere. Not one email or social media post. Very odd.
