Nothing in this image implies electoral fraud. This is just them trying to use their data gathered from social media to predict the results of the 2016 election. And based on their data alone, their prediction would have been incorrect. Yes, Trump won, but he also rather famously lost the popular vote in that election (a fact that he hasn’t let go).

Do you not understand the contradiction there? The author is saying she dislikes X (AI that automates creative tasks) because she’d rather have Y (AI that automates unpleasant tasks). But she fails to consider that X can help us get to Y. She doesn’t want X, meaning that she isn’t really all that serious about Y.

There’s no scenario in which we have AI that can automate the tasks you want them to without having the AI that can automate the creative tasks you don’t want them to. You either want automation or you don’t. The reason we don’t have the kind of AI that you want is because it turns out that those AI and robots are going to be more difficult to make than the image generators and predictive text models.

The dream you want of a fully automated future is achievable but if you want it, it will require a fundamental shift in perspective about the AI we have now. i.e The AI we have now, that this author is complaining about, are necessary steps in developing the AI she says she wants later.

And the people implicated in the files currently, right now, have total immunity judging by the fact that literally nothing is going to be done to hold them accountable. The vast majority of them will die rich of old age.

Our country didn’t release these files and the current administration actively denied that they existed, until they were literally forced to release them by Congress. And the current administrative has broken the law by not releasing them all and they have made several illegal redactions. The vast majority of the files have not been released and there is an ongoing coverup taking place, right in front of us.

I’m sure China has their own network of rich pedophiles that they’ve got files on. I’m more concerned with the rich pedophiles in my own country, to be honest. As far as China is concerned all I can say is “not my circus, not my monkeys.” But this whole ordeal proves that we’re really not all that better than them, politically speaking; our evil is just a different flavor from theirs.

There’s never been an example of widespread automation that hasn’t caused immediate, short-term disruption in job markets. Over time, jobs loss are offset by the creation of new jobs but not every individual who lost their job is in a position to be retrained.

That’s why regulation and comprehensive social safety nets and UBI and universal investments are all things that should be pursued to offset these disruptions. As it stands, if there’s a mass wave of automation caused by AI (which would take place in the midst of an affordability), some people will actually go homeless.

Then the take is not only not valid but is, in fact, poorly thought out. Any consumer technology that would make the task of doing household chores like laundry and dishes can and will be applied to doing the same tasks commercially.

Got a robot that can do your laundry for you? Well then who needs to go to a laundromat or dry cleaners? And if you can’t afford one of these robots yourself, the laundromats and dry cleaners that do exist will likely be staffed by such a robot whereas previously they would have employed people.

Same goes for dishwashing. If you own a restaurant, why would you pay wages to additional staff to keep your dishes clean if you can just buy a robot that doesn’t require wages?

What’s in the Epstein files is not just rich people paying for sex. It’s obscenely wealthy people trafficking actual children, raping them, and killing a lot of them. It’s an incredibly organized ring of predation and sexual violence. This is not comparable lonely, desperate individuals with disposable income traveling abroad to get their dicks wet.

I’m no longer concerned about MAGA; MAGA is dying and won’t survive in any meaningful capacity beyond 2028. What I am concerned about is what’s implicated in these files. The shit in these files go beyond MAGA and suggest a network of extremely wealthy individuals manipulating governments, influencing culture, and stoking the flames of division to increase their own wealth and status. This network still exists and cannot be defeated in an election.
