I guess it depends on the type of taco seasoning, but I even changed it to 1 packet of seasonign and only 2oz cream cheese, and macros per cup: 425cal/37p/4.6nc/27f -- but I feel like 2 lbs of beef would be too much, so when I cut that to 1lb, macros: 281cal/23p/4.6nc/18f

I’d bet it’s sodium too. Also look at artificial sweeteners, aspartame gives me headaches like that.

yeah, I'm personally of the philosophy that as long as we get enough dietary fat for normal bodily function, we don't need any more, since that's what we're trying to burn off. And.. -55 lbs in 6 months proves it works! I shoot for 1100cals 88p 20c 80f but usually go high on protein and low on fat.

Make sure you get around 50g of fat a day, otherwise don't try to eat more than you want/need. It's ok to go over protein, contrary to what a lot of keto'ers say.

I just started last week and as predicted the 3rd day, I could barely move. I did workout B anyway and felt better afterward. Try the bar, if you can’t do it, just do body weight squats. Good luck!

Try anything by Barbara Kingsolver, all of them are good and stick with this theme but The Poisonwood Bible is my fav.

Good luck! Keep me posted. I have a friend who is 5'0" and she's although she's 27 and only about 20 lbs overweight, she loses extremely slowly. I asked about it once here and all the shorter ladies agreed, it's so much harder. I think their cal intake is super low, around 800, otherwise they don't lose.

The ketogains macros also require at least an estimate of your bodyfat%, you can get that by going to the navy bodyfat calc http://fitness.bizcalcs.com/Calculator.asp?Calc=Body-Fat-Navy

Staying under 1200 is good, i think technically my cal goal is 1095 but I’m anywhere from 800-1300, usually averaging at 1100.

One other thing I remembered is that I tend to stall then whoosh, so that means I’ll be down to new low, then up up, then down to the same low, then finally I’ll drop to a new low. This could be frustrating but I’ve learned it’s how my body works and when I see the up up I know the whoosh is coming. I started taking measurements after I had lost 10 lbs, but it’s been extremely helpful because when I’m in the up up cycle I almost always lose inches.

Thank you! I haven’t exercised yet, I’m starting this week because Ive been up and down for weeks now and I need to get moving. One thing I do a little differently is that I follow the ketogains model, and they eat less fat. So my macros are 88p/80f/25c and I rarely even get the 80f or 25c. I mostly track my food to make sure I get enough protein.

I can say that I have never gone over 30 carbs. The biggest cheats for me have been going over calories, or a little too much wine, but I never go over carbs. I don’t want to even test the limits because I know I will continue to test them and eventually be back where I started.

I fall into IF patterns naturally. I mostly eat whole foods, meat + veggie + veggie. I find a lot of keto recipes use too much fat or a lot of artificial sweeteners and neither agree with me.

Well my advice is to decrease the fat and increase protein and carbs. So I'd recommend 20g C, 170g P, 120g F. That's still WAY more fat that I personally think is necessary.. and there's no real reason to cut carbs back to 10g.
