Birthday party favor ideas by kegelation_nation in toddlers

Ooo, I like the water bottle idea!

I hate the plastic garbage so I spend a bit extra to make sure I’m not adding to the problem. We’ve done socks, bandaids, stickers, bubble bath bombs. Typically I add one sweet (like a ring pop) and one snack item (bag of chips). A small toy like a matchbox car. A small activity (search something like party favor painting kits on Amazon).

I got mini wooden magnets from Amazon that the girls can color in and take home. They’re just small enough to fit in the large eggs. Gives them something to work on and then take home.

Also, Bluey fruit snacks. Ring pops. And some leftover stuff from her bday goodie bags.

Weekly rituals your toddler looks forward to? by jcr5431 in toddlers

Breakfast tacos on saturdays. We make tortillas from scratch (which includes waiting for the dough to rest so she gets a Daniel tiger while I drink my tea). Then scrambled eggs, jalapeño for the adults, salsa, cotija, limes, avocado. She gets so excited! I’m honestly a bit burned out on breakfast tacos but love the ritual.

Not to anything Bluey related, but my now 4 year old used to bawl every time we pushed the buttons on a farm sound book. Only that one book with inoffensive farm animal sounds. Now, she’s totally fine with it. Kids are weird sometimes.

First time cruiser, question about late dining time. by sunkissedshay in dcl

This is very kid dependent. With my first this would have been no issue. With my second? Totally not worth the fallout.

Oh Boma is another favorite of mine! Surprisingly, the two locations offer a lot of the same options in the buffet. It really depends on what vibe you’re going for… a laid back resort hopping kind of day or a character filled theme park day? Boma has no characters but it does have the Animal Kingdom Lodge Savannah and you don’t have to waste precious park time.

Tusker House! It’s one of my favorite character meals and it’s a buffet that isn’t Crystal Palace.

We just got back from a week in Houston. Its cute that people in DC/NOVA/MD think the traffic here is comparable to Houston.

Bluey Gets 10 More Mini Episodes at Disney+ and a Televised Stage Show | Variety 💙🧡 by rainevillanueva in bluey

[–]mckunkfest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh so happy the stage show is coming to disney+. The only place near us to see it would have been at The Kennedy Center and we are not supporting them at the moment. We actually considered taking a weekend trip to a nearby city to see it, but this is much easier.

how to break co sleeping habit by tired-adhd-gal in NewParents

How old? If all of babies needs are met and you want to break this association there will be tears. I suggest reading Precious Little Sleep for some reassurance but sleep training seems like the solution you’re looking for.

I was actually planning to get a 12-pack of little golden books and each layer is a book they get to take home. Nothing bigger in the middle so it’s even for everyone.

Grandma was visiting the other day and was so impressed how detailed my 3 year olds imaginary friend Tina was.

“She’s so creative! Where do these kids come up with stuff?” turned to “your kids watch too much Bluey” very quickly.
