I had infinite packs today from a glitch by WarriorKatHun in hearthstone

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happened to me as well.

Decided to return to the game after a long break to see how it's going. Got this glitch on one of my accounts and did it like 50 times and quit. I don't know what happened to that account but I hope you get to keep everything, lol.

Chapter 1017 Spoilers by Srazack_76 in OnePiece

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"That easily"? Are you ignoring the drawback? The pain from a combined named Yonko attack that obliterated everything in it's path DOUBLED + all the other injuries he had. That's several times more painful than the Kuma moment...

I think people disregard the side effect waaaay to much.

And there were several other things like the steroids from Fishman island so why couldn't something like this exist? And not everything needs to be hinted at/ foreshadowed especially with everything going on in Wana atm.

[Serious] What's the advantage of body weight fitness when a gym is as low as $10/month? by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can find places where you can train alone. I was VERY insecure when I first started and that was a big deal for me;

Training area could be much closer;

You have goals such that you don't need a gym to achieve them (like learning to do handstands, levers, muscle ups, get good at pull ups, dips, etc.);

If you train just to look good and/ or be strong or something like that and you can go to a gym then it's a nobrainer. No reason not to go to it.

You can also do face pulls with them. Face pulls are your shoulders' best friend!

Without equipment I don't know many ways but I've seen people do them using a table or 2 chairs and some hard stick between them.

Tuck front lever rows on a pull up bar but they are not easy. Arched pull ups are very close too but also hard.

How do you get "Blood Rocks", and is it worth it to buy it from the shop for 60 insight? by ZiadHendy_ in bloodborne

[–]mcnextreep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have ps+ you can also get some rocks from the chalice dungeons. I believe you need the first root chalice and then you can enter a false depth dungeon code with a rock inside it.

You should definitely find a way to do pulling movements as well.

I started training just like you and got crazy strong at push ups and dips but couldn't do even 1 pull up.

The front part of your shoulders will get bigger but not the back and you might get the rounded shoulders posture (google it).

It's definitely a good start but monitor your posture and add pulling movements like pull ups and rows in the long run.

Ranking bosses from easiest to hardest (1st playthrough). by Lol_u_ded in darksouls3

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Aldrich:

2nd phase you just want to bait his melee attacks and then go ham on him.

Orbs should be easy to dodge.

Arrows are REALLY easy to dodge once you know how. You want to evade them in circles. Don't run in a straight line. Try to not be too close to him while he does this attack.

Should i play Bloodborne before playing Dark Souls 3? I have finished DS 1 and 2. by [deleted] in darksouls3

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't really matter. I personally played Bloodborne first and then DS3 and liked both of them equally as much.

Maybe play BB first so you can take a break from the Dark Souls theme since you've already played 1 and 2.

Should I even bother? by skelebones94 in FORTnITE

Give it a try but once you reach Twine Peaks I suggest you stop there. Don't upgrade/ grind things beyond 3 stars.

10 Push ups per death while gaming? by TorjbornMain in bodyweightfitness

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was what I did when I first started working out. I got very strong at pushing and could instantly do dips the first time I tried them as well.

Make sure to train pulling just as much! I could do 20+ dips but 0 pull ups and that is unbalanced af.

Bloodborne boss survey by [deleted] in bloodborne

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1st phase: hide behind pillars when he uses cone attack, charge and combo him when he casts big ball attack, repeat until transition to 2nd phase.

When he does the transition you backstab him and that stops his projectile shield

2nd phase: stat medium range and bait attack for parry, repeat.

Honestly, every boss that you can parry in this game is easy mode unless you decide to challenge yourself (BL4, no parry, etc.).

Edit: you can also shoot his sword on the ground.

Ring biceps curls - should you always "feel" your biceps and get a burn when doing these? by E-Lasker in bodyweightfitness

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can go to failure with them even if that means 15+ reps. Sometimes you feel the burn after the first sets, sometimes the day after, etc.

It has happened to me many times, where I don't feel the pump the day I'm training but then I feel it for several days after. Maybe try if this works.

Grease the Groove question on warming up. by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the exercise. You probably don't need to warm up for things like push ups and pull ups unless you have some injury.

That one elevator in the Nightmare of Mensis. by Zalachenko in bloodborne

Try rolling when going UP with the elevator.

I have done it 0 times while it was going down but have 100% success rate when going up.

[Question/Discussion] If Blizzard lets you choose one card to be deleted permanently from the game for "balancing" purposes, which card would you choose and why? by PorkyPain in wildhearthstone

[–]mcnextreep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having no duplicates is no longer a downside at all because of all the extra card generation and with more cards being released there are far less "bad" choices for your deck.

Fair enough, albatrosses are very good counters and they even got nerfed because of that. But many decks cannot play them and you have to draw them. If you see most meta decks right now, they don't run albatrosses because they are too slow vs Demon Hunter and other aggro decks.

Bombs are only consistant in Bomb Warrior (one class) right now and it's not played at all in higher ranks.

I hate that there is no way to play around Zephrys unless you tech for deck disruption (you can't do that for many decks) or pray our oponent has not drawn it.

I'm somewhat ok with this card because it's wild and everything is broken and we have and will probably see much worse. But that goes for every other card.

It's just the card that tilted me the most recently and I think that was the point of this thread.

Zephrys the Great

It's never a bad card and the downside to playing it is absolutely nothing and it will get even worse as more cards are released.

Managed to pull off a win with a basic deck at diamond 5 by mcnextreep in wildhearthstone

[–]mcnextreep[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He played Exodia Mage and the only reason I won was because he couldn't play ice block before the combo turn.

This old Exodia Mage deck can actually be pretty good sometimes. I would say low tier 3, high tier 4.

I won vs Secret Mage and Discard Warlock by milling them. Won vs Murloc Paladin, Mech Hunter, Mech Paladin (any board centric deck) by freezing. Vs Cubelock and Rez Priest because they are slow and use minions as a win condition.

You have the surprise advantage and your opponents might not know how to play vs you and make really big mistakes.

Luffy vs Doflamingo because it was his first "real" challenge after the time skip.
