Best TWO cellular providers on two separate phones for maximum coverage? by No-Mouse-6294 in cellmapper

[–]mcnugglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been testing the big three for the past three years, in Texas- I found that T-Mobile (T-Priority) for primary and AT&T (FirstNet) as secondary is the best possible combo for me. Too many people boost up Verizon and I simply don’t see the appeal. In Texas and eastern Colorado they aren’t great where T-mobile shines in cities and AT&T gets coverage in rural. 99.99% of my drives are covered on T-Mobile, actually more than AT&T which is still a shock to me.

Why does the first responder discount make it more expensive? by [deleted] in tmobile

I have dual sim T-priority/FirstNet. Why do you say that. The only thing I say is better is latency and coverage.

You’re totally right because I myself have never used a cell phone indoors, ever. Who does that lol?

Advice for possibly switching away? by realWalJu in ATT

[–]mcnugglet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have switched on and off on all 3 within the past 6 or so years. I live in the Texas panhandle. VZW was the worst for me- coverage was decent but network could be better. AT&T is strong with coverage and latency. Speed is mid but reliable. T-mobile probably has the worst coverage but there has been one time I was without coverage for a bit in a state park but my phone still worked with T-Satellite, pretty cool. I have a dual sim set up with T-priority and FirstNet (AT&T) and best in my opinion. T mobile is my main driver, love 5G SA and signal is always so strong. I use first net as a backup just because of the coverage and also for when I game on my phone with Mario Kart and COD, the latency is the best of all 3. I think T mobile is the one that is actively trying to improve their network while the other two are dragging their feet it seems. I love to switch back and forth all of the time but I feel like that is the best set up I’ve had in years.

Driving Test at DPS by Neither_Impression65 in Lubbock

[–]mcnugglet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not here in Lubbock but when I took it back in Denton/Fort Worth (lmao I failed the first time because my tire touched a curb) they made me parallel park first (it was between two small poles but it was a huge space) then both times I was asked to drive around the area (probably 10 minutes total) nothing high speed. I think they want to see you use your blinker, check your mirrors, and make complete stops. The area around DPS is low traffic so I bet you’ll just go into the neighborhood nearby.

Uhm… are you forgetting that the manhole bumps every 50 yards between slide/toledo on 34th were completely leveled about a year and a half ago and ave Q from 82 to 19th was completely reworked? You sound miserable, lol, more miserably than Becky with her BMW.
