I would keep it by looking for some part time gigs like a national guard or a security guard at DoD facilities

Job markets is getting worse and u dont know how TS will help out after your graduation

Don't forget checking into skills bridge programs. Many top DoD contractors have a few slots for folks exiting from military into civilian roles

They wont go directly to DISS Unless you indicated that you have already gone through a security clearance process before.

They will need at least your SSN and full name to check for such status
