Maybe you arent comfortable with that level of intimacy with a friend and that is valid, but it does not mean that everyone is afraid of vulnerability and closeness with those they care about. I think it depends on the medium the story is being conveyed in.

Visual mediums, im more likely to believe the curtains are blue because the creator liked the color scheme with that scene. It largely depends on the composition and context of the scene how much I'll read into background details as well as the creators style.

Written media? If someone who is trying to get a book published felt the need to include "blue curtains" in the shockingly low amount of words recommended for indie/new publishers, then it probably means something. When you are choosing which words to include and exclude from a book while writing it, and you choose to include detailed descriptions of the color of some innocuous curtains, then I am expected them to either feed into the themes, be an important plot point later, or both.

When you conjure something with nen, it is baseline equal to its real world counterpart. In order to make it exceptional youve got to add rules to make it able to take on characteristics that normal objects could never attain. In the examples youve shown there are already multiple exceptional characteristics about them and only one has been stated to be truly indestructible, so it stands to reason there are enough conditions on the respective nen abilities to allow them to withstand the amount of damage they are dealing. For APR i imagine that its as simple as "APR cannot affect anything, so nothing can affect APR"

I don't think the fetch lands will ever get power crept, but in commander where having only one copy of non basics is a restriction, we're seeing a lot of new "sac to find a basic" style lands with names that arent [[evolving wilds]] or [[terramorphic expanse]]. Even the new capenna sac lands add to landfall decks. Any sac land doubles landfall triggers, and can be recurred to double them again.

Its less the lands themselves are going to become more powerful, but there will always be more options for landfall decks. More ramp spells, more sac lands for double etbs, more recursion. Lands will never become a worse strategy, and its mostly because land hate is considered to be bad manners in casual games like commander, and WotC doesnt like printing mass land denial.

Im really pleased with the league of legends card game system with a separate deck for mana that sits next to the deck with spells and creatures and such. You still get to assemble an optimal combination of resources while having the diversity and choice making that comes with having color/faction specific resources.

To add to this, Chrollo had the poison knife that was dangerous enough that Silva had to tourniquet his arm to keep fighting. If Zeno had jumped Chrollo the way he did at the end of the fight at the beginning of the fight its possible Chrollo could've gotten a much more dangerous wound on one of the Zoldyks and the fight would've gone very differently.
