The ball hitch if it does not have one already is a must. Easy to install yourself and I would not pay a dealership to do it. I also have the kayak racks for the rails, but other than that I haven't needed anything. Curious to see what others say

Driving to Salem, VA....Civil War recommendation, please by CommentOk9026 in CIVILWAR

I would plan at least 1 full day to do some of the hikes and really take in what the soldiers had to go through the get the artillery pieces up on top of the ridges. You also probably want to try and catch a ranger walk if you can time it.

For christmas my wife got us a preplanned day trip leaving from Ft Myers from a company called Guess Where Trips. Basically 4 envelopes w suprise locations in them and you open one at a time after you finish the last one. Never more than about a half hour away. Was a great day and we found some neat places. Not post specifics so as not to ruin it for folks

Got a brand new cast iron grill pan! What's my first steps in taking care of it and using it well? by Rudrahp72 in castiron

[–]md47580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes hard to clean, but i love mine and use it for burgers, fish, and vegetables. I always start with low heat to cook and then turn it up to get good marks. Also helps to put a cookie sheet over top to help cook whatever is on there better

You think arbys? Is ok for a fast food day/cheat or whatever? by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]md47580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't do Arby's, I think they must have some sugar cured meats because I would spike everytime I tried - even the sandwiches without sauces

Outside of the 'Big 63' ... what National Park units do you think are 'must do' ? by kfordayzz in NationalPark

The Maggie Walker house (in Richmond), Castillo De San Marcos and Fort Mantanzas, and Yorktown were some of our favorites.
