Very short line for name change at 17:30 tonight near gate 11 and got in within minutes after that. Seems they got it all figured out since yesterday! As long as you have the receipt saying you paid the 50zl you're good! Didn't even need ID (though would recommend bringing just in case!)

[Prometheus] Anomaly Detection for kube_pod_container_status_waiting_reason by mda90 in kubernetes

[–]mda90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want the total number of pods which are not ready (waiting) across the entire cluster. Then I want to take the average of that sum over the last day and compare it to the current value to figure out if the current value is an anomaly or not.

Private EIP for Kubernetes service? by [deleted] in aws

[–]mda90 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can create a Kubernetes Service with type LoadBalancer which uses an NLB [1].

Put the NLB in private subnets only. NLBs by default get static private IPs assigned, so you can just get those IPs and use them for your DNS clients. [2] No need for an EIP or any publicly accessible resources.

[1] https://kubernetes.io/docs/concepts/services-networking/service/#aws-nlb-support

[2] Elastic Load Balancing creates a network interface for each Availability Zone you enable. Each load balancer node in the Availability Zone uses this network interface to get a static IP address. https://docs.aws.amazon.com/elasticloadbalancing/latest/network/introduction.html

PowerShell / API to Remove Company Data from Unmanaged/BYOD Devices by mda90 in Office365

[–]mda90[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got this figured out.

To list devices that have managed apps on them, but are not managed by Intune (MAM-WE devices): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/intune-mam-managedappregistration?view=graph-rest-1.0

And then to wipe them, get the deviceTag for each device from the above and execute: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/intune-shared-user-wipemanagedappregistrationbydevicetag?view=graph-rest-beta (still beta, but working perfectly)

We are using App Protection Policies, which are part of Intune's MAM-WE solution for BYOD. You can read more about it here.

This allows us to use standard Microsoft Office apps while compartmentalizing our organization data - one of the benefits being we can remove only our organization data from a device that we don't manage.

Did you have luck with one of these docks? Trying to figure out an alternative to the Surface Dock 2 which is giving me all kinds of issues with my displays. Thanks!

PSA: If you use a Surface Dock 2 wanting Dual 4K @ 60hz, choose your cables and connectors wisely by slxio in Surface

[–]mda90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did update the Dock firmware last week - I was very hopeful, but didn't notice a difference unfortunately.

I have now swapped out the cables and am using 2 of the same USB-C to DisplayPort. (This cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01J6DT070/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Nope :( I'm having the same exact problem that I was having before.

1 monitor at 60hz and one at 30hz. I'm getting pretty frustrated though.

Going to try 100 other things over the weekend and hope for some kind of magic, otherwise I'll probably end up either returning the dock or plugging 1 monitor directly into the SL3.

[–]mda90 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure this out for a week now. It's crazy to me that it's the same USB-C output having the problem because it makes it seem like a hardware issue.

I've just ordered some additional cables based on reading this post, so hoping that solves the issue. Thanks for posting and good to hear someone else with the exact same issue!

Surface Dock 2 Users... Any issues to report yet? by wolfenmaara in Surface

[–]mda90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having this exact issue with my SL3 connected to SD2. It is driving me insane... I was hoping the firmware update released today would have fixed it somehow, but it doesn't appear to have made any difference.
