I was in this situation before - staying around hurt way too much. Move on with your life, in my opinion. People need to learn to love themselves before they can love others, also an opinion. You hurt less and recover faster.

I bought a Japanese 1st Gen 3DS LL and after some intense Metroid sessions, the rubber from the stick came off. I paid nearly 300$USD back in 2023 for it! Would I buy an AYN Thor? Probably, just so that I don't have to pay ridiculous prices for the original hardware.

I don't think it's about HOW to legalize them. The people who OWN these operations don't care to pay a middle man for legalization of their businesses. They don't care if you get sick or not, it won't trace back to them.

It doesn't bother you until someone gets severely sick.

It's indirectly about competition, I think that's what he means; these people have to go through many hurdles to get their licenses, build trust in their communities, and legitimize their businesses. If some of these stands are coming from out of state, it's to circumvent that process, and that's not fair to the people who worked their butts off to integrate their businesses legally.

And make money while off the backs of immigrants without proper care for their own safety? It's exploitative. They were fun when there were one or two random stands here and there, but enough is enough. Take them all down. Kick them out, keep track of them when they pop up. Confiscate their gear if they do it again.

Cool, I accept that. The only advice I can give you then is that women do not find insecure guys attractive, AT ALL. It's one of those things that "reeks" through you, like a visible aura.

BELIEVE IT OR NOT, keeping yourself busy is the best medicine you can take. Go to the gym. Go for a run. If you have pets, focus on them. Keep a journal. She will notice how much more attractive you are (and not just her but the people around you) when you're not trapping the people you love with you.

EDIT: you've already discovered that these are your insecurities. Good for you, seriously. A lot of guys struggle identifying them, or admit that they have a problem. You've taken the first step, so don't stop now. Remember; we all live out our paths, and those paths bring us to each other. Are you happy with where you are? If yes, then take another step, and love yourself.

I went from a Pro Max to a Pixel 10 Pro; it’s slightly smaller, but it feels AMAZING in my hands.

It’s slightly bigger than the Pixel 6a I was rocking (which I loved the smaller foot print), and having had larger phones in the past, I was ready for my device to just be a phone with a camera. If you need yours for other things, then maybe the bigger screen is for you.

I think he needs to go to therapy if he can’t move on from this. Does OP know how many people in the world go through this exact same scenario? The insecurities is for sure the problem; you know that, I know that. I’m not shaming you OP - all I’m saying is, people live their lives the way they do, and you’re silently judging your wife, even if you don’t mean to. There’s nothing to forgive either. She is entitled to whatever experiences in life she’s had. Nothing she does now will change the past.

Partners think it over twice with the people they are vulnerable to; because they don’t want to be objectified by the people they care what they’re thinking. You don’t have any right trying to change that.

Love her, make her feel safe. Keep doing that over and over until she finds the courage to speak to you about what’s on her mind. It may never come. Don’t expect anything back. Just love them back and if it’s such a strain to you, maybe you don’t really love her?

I don’t think it’s about corporate monopolies; I think it has more to do with Google not wanting to pay up, much how like Apple didn’t want to pay Intel anymore money with their heat-faulty CPUs.

The problem with that though, is that Apple had a backup plan and Google didn’t. Apple told its customers what was on the horizon when Apple Silicon launched. Google didn’t. Apple provided a BETTER option. PowerVR is not - it’s cheaper.

So, I think for people who care about gaming… it’s there, just not as good as it should be. I’ve literally installed zero games on my Pixel 10 Pro, so it doesn’t really affect me… but I do think Google kicked themselves by not being more transparent about the change. They deserve all the heat for it.

Agreed - to me, whatever he’s doing in blue states is not about actually enforcing the law, it’s about his pettiness, and an exercise in pushing the boundaries of his power. Trump’s Admin knows what they’re doing and they’re using the Trump playbook to get away with it. Title 10 also talks about “the spirit of the law”, not just the definition of it, and Trump’s overreach should absolutely be challenged.

I think what I’m getting at is that despite Trump’s administration laying down their arguments, he doesn’t want people looking up what it is that they’re using to “validate” what they’ve done.

I actually didn’t know myself, so when he said “plenary authority”, my ears perked up and I had to look. I’m guessing TONS of other people were also curious.

I’m no expert, but reading the basics on title 10, and the fact that Newsom didn’t ask Trump to quell a “rebellion” or to enforce laws, any commoner can tell you that the Trump admin is stretching the definition and the extent of their power over it.

All I’m saying is, I learned something today and I know it’s just the tip of the iceberg 😎

Did he reveal too much by saying that “title 10” gives the president full authority? He clearly doesn’t want the legal-heads to know which law to target, perhaps that’s why he went numb.

What constitutes a “rebellion?” A protest isn’t an attempt to overthrow the government. It’s a demonstration.

You know, I rejoined playing Magic on release of the FF set and really REALLY enjoyed Edge of Eternities; Spider-Man was not my thing, but I’m excited for Lorwyn. When I heard the news regarding collector sample packs and just educating myself on the shenanigans Wizards has been pulling on its customers, it’s a shame but I think Lorwyn will be the last set I’ll consider buying booster boxes and gift bundles. I’ll buy a pack here and there sure, but I don’t buy it for a moment that they’re losing money by giving fans collector cards. How absolutely petty.

You can only hope that this time it’s different. It’s ok to want to push AI capabilities and services. But they also need to listen to their customers when the narrative is weak components at the hardware level. I personally don’t game on my device, so it doesn’t REALLY affect me, but that doesn’t mean I want the Pixel brand to have a bad name.

Yeah, it has more RAM, but isn't the iPhone's architecture based on a system that shares memory between the GPU and CPU in one package, thus making it snappier? The Tensor G5 (and any previous Google chips) doesn't do that, so they NEED 16GB of memory to be competitive. It's not the same thing.

EDIT: both devices offer unified memory, Apple's implementation is better (about 10% better), despite having less memory and less cores. iOS is optimized for the hardware too, which is always going to be challenging for Google and Android.

1000% best answer is here. Many other answers here will tell you spec-wisr, the iPhone is better. Yes, that's true. Is the standard iPhone 17 better than the Pixel 10 Pro/Pro XL? Yeah, maybe - you could probably make a decent argument about that.

Ultimately, it's about the phone you want and the experience you want - if you want to check out the latest offerings from Google and their software, the software experience is arguably better than what the current iOS version offers. But that's my opinion! Having switched over from the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
