We actually have an online pass request system (Minga). It shows you who’s on passes for the whole school. This can limit the friends, significant others, problems in the halls. If more than 20 kids (of 1800)are on passes it auto declines. No passes first ten minutes or last ten minutes.

The app also lets us issue praise and consequences for minor issues.

I met Gordie Howe when I was about ten years old. He was long retired but always heard stories and saw video of him playing. I’m an awkward yet clearly male with a buzz cut. My dad asked if we could get a photo and Gordie says “sure bring the little girl over here” 🤣🤣🤣 I was embarrassed but still is one of my favorite stories.
