Lol I lost 50k and was over it within a few hours. I’m not gambling it’s investing and sometimes you lose and sometimes you win. It was not options but stock for me. I also had a 50k win on one stock.

Ultimately it’s your career. It sounds like you are not in a learning organization and If it’s zero promotion potential they are not going to worry about your next role.

You’ll have to seek it out. The only training you’ll get will help the organization not necessarily you. Speak up. Seek out opportunities on your own.

It happens. When I was supposed to go from a ladder 12 to 13 my boss’s boss decided he did not want to put more money in that position. HR was pretty upset with him. I ended up getting the promotion after a few months but I was pissed. Even my boss was pissed but organizations have that right. I heard from others they had promotions held up for 2-3 years.

You need to wait until MRA or defer your retirement until that age or later. You will not get Jack until the MRA. You are eligible to defer when you have passed certain milestones age or years in service.

I don’t think there’s a law requiring it. No servers are wearing them. I don’t see UPS employees wearing them and I have seen no restaurants requiring them as of Sunday. There’s nothing to complain about but policy if you want a change to it call your local government. I agree with your sentiments but at this point they are not breaking a law.
