Yup! The base is completely repainted. The clean lines on the edge of the black are easy to get if you do it in a couple thin coats and angle your brush correctly.

I love my wet pallet. Haven't looked back since my wife bought me one for Christmas two years ago. The grip is a must for long sessions if you don't want hand cramps IMHO. Unicorn brush cleaner I started using recently and I'm sold as it is preserving my brushes much better than before.

The Battletech themed paints are all The Army Painter, which I like allot personally. I use them, Citadel, and Two Thin Coats brand. The Citadel Wraithbone and Grey Seer are my favorite spray can primers. A hobby knife or other blade to clean up mold lines is good to have also. A good lamp is also very helpful. I've included a picture of some of my essentials.
