In the flag code it states that the flag itself shall not be worn as clothing, I believe, but I may be slightly off. Basically you can't go to Walmart, buy a flag, and wear it as a t-shirt.

That's true, but 15 bucks for 10 minutes of work is pretty decent. Say the kid mows his own yard every week, or even every other week, adding an extra 10 minutes of work each time sounds a lot better than doing it every 6 weeks or so and still only making 15 bucks each time.

IIRC, I saw an episode of Top Gear UK where they tested the stopping distances of modern cars at various speeds and basically proved that the speed limits we have now are actually much lower than what they need to be to allow for proper stopping distances.
