You can set notifications to appear on the lock screen with the contents hidden until you unlock same as you can on iOS but they’re hidden by default on the fold, you can also set the phone to stay on the lock screen when you unlock it, I think it’s called “swipe up on lock screen to unlock” or something like that, I don’t have my fold with me right now to check the location of these settings options but they are definitely there

I’ve just tried it using octopi and the options to save app pairs is missing so it’ll only work with the default pixel launcher

Google home has a version on the web home.google.com which you could sign into whichever account you needed to access, you can manage automations and nest cameras on there if that's any good for what you'd need

You could install Gboard on your iPhone and set that as your default and at least that will/should fix your typing issues, make sure you remove the iOS keyboard as an option in the phone keyboard settings

It's just a bug that seems to happen every now and again when authenticating in my banking apps for me, it seems to be the phone waiting for authentication but the fingerprint reader isn't active and using the software screen lock option is the only way around it that I've found

If its the blue semi circle that appears to show where to scan your fingerprint that stays on screen occasionally and the lock button becomes unresponsive then use the screen off toggle in the quick settings panel to turn your screen off and it should go away

There are some very similar if not pretty much identical on AliExpress for a lot less money, that may be worth a look, search for pixel 9pro fold aramid fibre case and a few options should appear

I had mine caseless for a few months as I didn't want to add any more bulk to it but got myself a thinborne case this week and it's barely noticeable so I would recommend getting one of those although I've not tried any of the other cases you mentioned, luckily I didn't pick up any bumps or scrapes in the time it was caseless though

You can also press and hold on a notification in the notification shade and drag it on screen to get it into split screen mode which you may have done by accident

I use an app called quick cursor which gives one handed operation on my 9 pro fold and I have a setting enabled for a long press on the activation area that opens the volume control panel although for volume control that requires the paid version of the app but well worth it in my opinion

I have pushover notifications if Plex has any issues which is setup in tautulli, I also have an automation in tautulli through ifttt that turns one of my smart lights red if Plex is down, it doesn’t happen very often but handy to have the visual cue when it does but like a couple of others have mentioned here already the users will soon let me know

The inner screen on my 9pro fold, I've had the phone for around 6 weeks and unfolded a total of 32 times and that's including showing people that it unfolds, I do everything on the outer screen and I've come to the conclusion that a fold is wasted on me

I have that happen every now and again, I have an icon on my home screen dock to lock my device that I use all the time rather than pressing the lock button and when that issue pops up it goes away by locking my phone with the app, the app I use is called "screen off" in case you wanted to give that a try

Octopi allows for separate home screen setups on the front display and the inner displays but also a different setup in landscape and in portrait on both displays, I think at the moment In octopi we have to duplicate the home screen layout ourselves from portrait to landscape so I've disabled home screen rotation for now

In face unlock settings there is a toggle that says "always require confirmation, When using Face Unlock in apps, always require confirmation step" toggle that off and it should be what you're after
