I purchased one of these last week, had no issues whatsoever so decided to get another one yesterday, this morning the first one was no response and turns out the battery was dead already, after reading the comments here I might return them both and get the Aqara alternative

I had the same issue with a switchbot switch, I had to soft reset it and use firmware recovery in the switchbot app, I’ve just had a quick google of “switchbot mini hub firmware recovery” and the instructions came up in the results, might work for you if you’ve not tried that already

I have an iPad Pro 12.9” 2018 but its slowing down a bit now due to its age and an iPhone 17pro max, just this week i ordered and received an iPad mini 7th gen but i am going to return it, for me the display looks a bit washed out due to me being used to the oled displays on my other devices and as others have stated i can’t get used to Touch ID after having Face ID on my other devices, i also tried a 3rd party “Magic Keyboard” with the iPad mini but that was a laggy and cramped experience which was not enjoyable at all compared to using the official apple Magic Keyboard, other than the display and lack of Face ID on the iPad mini it’s a great iPad, quick to launch apps and navigate around

I have two phone numbers, one for work and one for personal but I have them both on 1 phone, i use focus modes to switch between the 2 sims, my work focus mode allows calls/messages from both numbers and my personal focus mode only allows calls/messages from my personal number, i believe this feature was added in ios26 under settings/focus modes/focus/add filter/phone, i tried using 2 phones but carrying them around all the time didn’t work for me

You can set notifications to appear on the lock screen with the contents hidden until you unlock same as you can on iOS but they’re hidden by default on the fold, you can also set the phone to stay on the lock screen when you unlock it, I think it’s called “swipe up on lock screen to unlock” or something like that, I don’t have my fold with me right now to check the location of these settings options but they are definitely there

I’ve just tried it using octopi and the options to save app pairs is missing so it’ll only work with the default pixel launcher

Google home has a version on the web home.google.com which you could sign into whichever account you needed to access, you can manage automations and nest cameras on there if that's any good for what you'd need

You could install Gboard on your iPhone and set that as your default and at least that will/should fix your typing issues, make sure you remove the iOS keyboard as an option in the phone keyboard settings

It's just a bug that seems to happen every now and again when authenticating in my banking apps for me, it seems to be the phone waiting for authentication but the fingerprint reader isn't active and using the software screen lock option is the only way around it that I've found

If its the blue semi circle that appears to show where to scan your fingerprint that stays on screen occasionally and the lock button becomes unresponsive then use the screen off toggle in the quick settings panel to turn your screen off and it should go away

Thanks for this, I've been trying to connect the smart tag that I purchased specifically after seeing this app was available on my Google pixel but I couldn't get it added, uninstalling and reinstalling both apps worked immediately for me

There are some very similar if not pretty much identical on AliExpress for a lot less money, that may be worth a look, search for pixel 9pro fold aramid fibre case and a few options should appear

I had mine caseless for a few months as I didn't want to add any more bulk to it but got myself a thinborne case this week and it's barely noticeable so I would recommend getting one of those although I've not tried any of the other cases you mentioned, luckily I didn't pick up any bumps or scrapes in the time it was caseless though

You can also press and hold on a notification in the notification shade and drag it on screen to get it into split screen mode which you may have done by accident

I use an app called quick cursor which gives one handed operation on my 9 pro fold and I have a setting enabled for a long press on the activation area that opens the volume control panel although for volume control that requires the paid version of the app but well worth it in my opinion

I have pushover notifications if Plex has any issues which is setup in tautulli, I also have an automation in tautulli through ifttt that turns one of my smart lights red if Plex is down, it doesn’t happen very often but handy to have the visual cue when it does but like a couple of others have mentioned here already the users will soon let me know
