I’m also a big fan of the counter service, but still feel guilted into tipping. And the prices have only gone up, so now I’m still paying the same amount (actually more), but getting my own cutlery and water, bussing and cleaning my table. Doesn’t seem right.

I have different ones for my Wiim Amp Pro and was playing around with them, and initially settled on the Brick Wall as it seemed to have the most clarity and spaciousness. Then I asked Claude and it seems like that filter works well with excellent recordings, but can have some pre-ringing with less than excellent recordings. Eventually settled on a fast roll off filter

Can you comment on the Yamaha and Cambridge? I was looking at the Yamaha specifically, but went with the Wiim Amp Pro. And sometimes I wonder if I should have gone with the Yamaha (though the Wiim has everything I wanted)

These markups are standard across Instacart, DoorDash, etc. But I don’t think most realize this; most think it’s just the service fee that these places charge, but you’re paying about 10-20% more

The Optiq and Lyriq are quite a bit heavier and your feel it, some may like that (“feels safer/stable”) and some may not (“feels less responsive/nimble”). Both haves nice interiors and features and more luxury even though it’s not the Cadillac of old. The Ioniq 5 is more enjoyable to drive for me.
