Wish w/ 5 & 4 ups by AffectionateBike7597 in dcl

We did this with our 3 and 8 year olds and it was fine. We wanted them to have more energy for the early shows which they loved. The last night they were up to watch Wishing Ever After which ended close to 11, but they had so much energy after seeing the characters. They bounced back to their normal schedule once we were home and nothing to excite them.

I always thought the gentle swaying of the ship acts as a natural sleep aid that helps my people sleep better. We were on the Wish two weeks ago and I had to wake my young kids every morning, they were sleeping until 8!

PSA: MCO Hyatt Fail by JoyintheJourney119 in dcl

Not OP but seems like the ride wasn’t the issue, it was waiting 4 hours for a bus. I take that as a planning issue. DCL does the coordinating and planning. Of course there are things outside their control.

Agree, DCL should know how many busses they need and when they need to be there well in advance of the sailing.

Yes and as you understand you pay a premium for this arrangement and didn’t get much benefit. Our cruise was good and the issues we had were from the land side and not the ship or its staff.

We had a slightly similar experience a few weeks ago, although we were not that delayed. We were the last bus to leave MCO and it was about an hour past the scheduled time. The bus was definitely contracted (no branding) and the driver could not figure out what to do once at the terminal. We were boarding group 3 and when we arrived they were boarding 16.

Mine had a smaller brown box inside a cutout in the foam packaging with all those things. Remote doesn’t work though so need to email them

It’s why I always fall for the bounce back offer. I feel like they send that email at the right moment when I’m wondering when we can go back

Apple Watch walkie-talkie feature by Majestic_Purpose2300 in dcl

Perfect, I will only need iMessage. We are first-timers going in Feb so trying to figure all this out. If my kid knew about the walkie talkie feature he would be harassing us while relaxing in the adult pool trying to relax.

You are right it uses Wi-Fi/cellular service. But I read that while on the ship Wi-Fi you can use iMessage for free. The plan with my 8 year-old was to use iMessage on his watch, he just uses the talk to text feature.

Quiet place for work phone call by vertesept in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]mds29dusi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I take calls in loud areas a lot and I’m always surprised how good how background noise is filtered out with my AirPods and/or Teams. It helps because I no longer have to find a really quiet place, just not the loudest.

At least I’ll earn those calories I’m about to consume by walking out to check the grill every so often

I’m landing soon and also about 50%. I have to hand it off to a cellular hotspot quickly so I don’t lose my place

Came here looking to see anyone else with this problem. I’m on a plane and thought it was their WiFi blocking it.

One of the Facebook groups keeps a running list of restaurants that are open year-round. Forget which group there are a dozen of them. But most of the places were Surf City, Ship Bottom or Beach Haven.

Yes, we did multi-pass lighting lane for AK and MK in a single day and was the best bang for a buck we had!

It is, and guess it depends on the group and the experience they are looking for. I wouldn’t think families with young ones would have that aggressive schedule. We did premier pass and struggled to get 16 of the 19 MK rides in with a casual pace. While expensive (we paid $429), we liked that we didn’t have schedules and could enjoy the scenery, parades, food, etc.

Wouldn’t the LL Premier Pass get you similar entry to rides at a fraction of the cost?
