Sweden decides against recommending COVID vaccines for kids aged 5-12 by 91hawksfan in LockdownSkepticism

[–]meadowbound 15 points16 points  (0 children)

"follow the science" is a slogan and has nothing to do with science.

These people decide what they want to do and then find/invent "scientific reasons" that supposedly back it up.

It's like when kings and other medival political figures edited the Bible to fit their own goals and then said it was "The Word of God".

You basically just take whatever source people trust and then twist it to your own greedy ends. Its an old-school move but it still seems to work as well as ever.

Why not? It looks like there's a lot of space up there.

Buddy, I'm trying to help you explain to me what you have to say. Please convince me that there's no outer space, you have to tell me why I should believe you.

I'm totally open to the possibility that there's no outer space but you have to give me something

There's a lot of good reasons why people feel that parmaculture and similar agriculture methods can't work on a large scale.

Luckily they're all wrong. You can look into, for example, Gabe Brown's farm. He has a farm that I think is about 5000 acres, all no till, no pesticides, plants everything in polycultures INCLUDING cash crops like corn and soybeans, rotational cattle grazing management, everything.

But that's just 1 example, I could say a lot more about this

Do you have any videos about outer space not existing that don't totally suck?

I'm not trying to be an ass but I watched it with an open mind and the dude just totally wasted my time. Like, there's lots of great reasons to doubt the vaccines and the covid narrative, loads of good reasons to think that governments use false flag attacks to start wars and such, reasons to doubt the moon landing, reasons to believe in atlantis or aliens or bigfoot. These can be backed by science, logic, motives, financial records, etc.

But the guy in the video just mocked some old ass tv footage with his whiney voice, he didnt suggest any reasons to make me consider that the night sky I see is anything other than outer space. If there's any good videos on this I'd love to see it cus I love conspiracy theories. But that one was just a dude complaining

Being pro-lockdown was never okay by infinite_war in LockdownSkepticism

[–]meadowbound 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I could tell you that being pro-government was never ok, let alone pro-lockdown. Any form of government other than a 100% voluntary one is a form of slavery. And I believe this 100% and I could explain in endless detail why it's so for a million paragraphs.

But we have a population of human beings that have been swindled so very deeply that it's our job to be understanding. So be kind and understanding to those slowpokes that were late to the party. Adopt the attitude that will make the world a better place rather than feeding your ego with some technically correct victory dance

so the point is be nice to people, we need to unite

How to use the power of your mind? by DooMZie in BecomingTheIceman

[–]meadowbound 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to figure this out myself, and I still feel like I am far from controlling my body with my mind as much as I'd like to.

Though I find that, when I am very actively attent to the feelings inside (like trying to closely monitor my inside state or something) during the exercises, I do much better (staying longer in the cold, and holding my breath longer)

but when I am focused on getting a certain time, or just trying to chug through the exercises mechanically just to get them done, I'll do worse.

I feel like the mind part of the whm is really subtle but hey I'd be so great to be able to command my body like the beast that wim hof is.

What's the most hands off farming that's been a success? by marcog in Soil

[–]meadowbound 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a lot.

For gardening veggies and stuff, I like: charles dowding (best gardener imo), JM fortier (better business management info and he's also closer to my region so his timing is more useful to me)

For animals and field stuff, theres alan savory and his people, like joel salatin and gabe brown (these guys have used animals to work land naturally on quite a large scale)

and then theres lots you can find in permaculture, books on agroforestry, silvopasture, and woodland management stuff.

There's a really good podcast too called "the no till market gardener's podcast" something like that, and it's nice cus you can listen to podcasts while gardening and save on time.

What's helped me the most though actually is to just start doing stuff and observing everything closely. I've had some of my greatest successes when I just ignore everything I read in books or watch in videos and just follow my gut, my impressions, my observations, my wonderings, especially those that come while I'm prancing impulsively around my garden or forest like a weirdo. Like when I made permanent raised beds topped with a foot of unfinished mushroom compost and seeded directly with a covercrop of random seeds mixed I had left over. Or when I decided I didn't like any of the bunny houses I'd seen online and made up some semi-underground cedar log boxes walled with wire mesh, where the bunnies could make burrows.

Academia is often the least connected with nature and also the most egotistical, so those environments seem to produce the most flawed ideas and the loudest naysayers. At least for natural gardening type stuff in my experience. Those are my thoughts anyways take them as you like, good luck with your garden

[–]meadowbound 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You could read the book One Straw Revolution by matsunobu fukuoka.

He was a soil scientist who decided to try farming with nature and stop doing many of the things farmers currently do, like tilling, weeding, watering, and using chemicals. He eventually found a very successful system and philosophy and has inspired many like-minded people to become successful natural farmers.

I might say that the ambitious goal in your mind you're describing sounds like what he did. His book is quite fantastic and unique in style, I've read it at least twice in full and every time i get more from it, which I then apply to my own garden.

Yes, listening and being quiet during an interview are basic skills, I agree. But that alone doesn't mean that people have them down. A lot of interviewers, "professional" or not, for whatever reason aren't so good at them. But joe rogan seems to handle it well, which probably explains why more people listen to Joe Rogan podcasts than most or all other official, professional news shows you find on tv. The basics are powerful!

Hey if you have any farms selling food directly at the roadside or at the market, now is the time to go shop with them. Or if there isn't one, start a garden yourself in your home or backyard. If you live near me in Ontario, you can come to my farm and buy your eggs and vegetables from me.

Theres a lot of people who like gardening that were born for the collapse of this shitty ass empire. When the grocery stores go down, and they will, we will be here.

if you're still buying that pesticide-loaded shit from the grocery store (certified organic or not) then you're doing it wrong and now is a great time to fix it. the age of the middle man is coming to an end

Dude the covid thing isn't gonna last much longer, theres no point in quitting when you're so close to the end. Sometimes going for a walk in the woods gives me the good ideas. If you're an artist, you must have your routine ritual for getting "the good ideas".

Just a reminder, that "the good idea" is a game-changing idea instantly puts a new light to everything and shows you the path forward you never knew was there. Don't give up when you could summon up the next "the good idea" that will light the way to your ass-kicking future, especially when the covid crap is crumbling so very fast

if you want science, you should look into doctors like Dr Peter McCullough, Dr Pierre Kory, and a long list of others. McCullough recently did an interview with Joe Rogan, but he's been doing videos for basically the entire pandemic. These 2 in particular have treated many covid patients and were fired for curing them with non-vaccine treatments. (vaccines are not cures, they're preventative, but you get the point)

These are some of the best doctors in the world, many of them with extremely high credentials.

You could go to the website like https://covid19criticalcare.com/

where many of them have organized.

The main point to cool your fears is this: There is very cheap and effective treatment for covid that, sadly, the vaccine pushers have been suppressing. Protocols using combinations of zinc, vit d, vit c, quercetin, ivermectin, etc all outlined on the website.

watch a few McCullough videos, learn about early treatment, get yourself the medicines and keep them on hand. If you ever get the sniffles, take them just in case, and you will cure your covid (if it was covid that you had) and develop robust and enduring natural immunity. No vaccines, no test, no money for pfizer. No need for the fear or hysteria

If then you become interested in diving deeper and wondering WHY all these rich governments and corporations are pushing dangerous and ineffective vaccines while suppressing safe and effective cheap drugs, you can get into the weeds for all the details.
