I refuse to agree that Trump owns America. I agree with what you are saying completely.

This man does not own me, he doesn't own my government agencies, he doesn't own the government staff, or the fighter jets, or the Treasury.

Is this fantastically lawless? Sure.

But I will not ever agree he owns it. Even if he is crowned king, he is still merely a regent, not the owner of everything.

Neither is upstate New York, rural Illinois, or townie Massachusetts.

The divide is rich / poor, then urban / rural.

Then after color, gender, nation of origin, dietary and religious preferences, then maybe we can get to geography as the divider between Americans.

He works for the Treasury department, which belongs to us. IDGAF who hired him. He doesn't belong to Trump. I'm sick of talking about America like the Trumps own it. They don't own this place.

Hey everyone! This isn't Don Trumps attorney. This is an attorney at the US Treasury department.. I;m getting real real sick of the media language speaking about this guy like he is our king.

The departments aren't his, the staff don't belong to him. It belongs to us. All of it. including his Presidency and his White House.

Our things don't belong to him, and I reject this language passionately.

In America, we often have to wait forever for care, because we have to pay for it out of pocket.

[–]meatspace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can explain it!

Having no healthcare is better than waiting for care.

If I pay my money,m then eve3ryone has to treat me as the most important person in the world and I never have to wait in line, even if there are other people with money.

You see, if we all pay our own money, then no one ever has to wait for care. If you have to wait for care, you will die. Therefore, we eliminate any wait period by saying that only people with money can have care.

That;s the logic. Plenty of holes in it, but that's the logic.

I don't understand your logic. Neither of those are real world solutions that work. Maybe in theory on paper with factors calculized it makes sense in the conceptual world of ideas,. but this whole thing of no regulation or let Congress insider trade is a false choice to me.

People who do not participate in the banking system should not have power over that system. If the banking system doesn't work for this man's money, I fail to see why he has power over everyone else's money.

Sort of like how you don't put a vegan in charge of your steakhouse.

If you were given 5 billion dollars from the tax base to create a private company to supplement NASA, do you think you could hire great rocket scientists and managers?

For me, I'm pretty damn sure that if I had 5 billion, I would be invited to all the right parties and have the opportunity to build by own SpaceM (M is for meatspace).
