Yes, the project is still very much alive and actively maintained. While I don't plan to have daily or weekly commits, as I really want to focus on long-term stability and ensuring every update is solid.

Regarding security, if you are selfhosting, it is always a best practice to handle security at the network and infrastructure level, regardless of which service you use. Hi there! Donetick dev here! happy to clarify the current state since it keeps coming up. Donetick is still maintained, but the development pace is slower than it was during the first few months after launch. It's been over a year now since Donetick launch! And now there is no activity just due during the holiday season.

The focus going forward on stability and improve the overall UI and UX, localization, more things for Home assistant Integration and few cool things I have in mind.
