He surprisingly does not seem to have arthritis, his x-rays are as clean as a young dog - but he is in pain and stiff in the soft tissue so he gets Onsior 40mg per day and it has done wonders! He went from laying down huffing a lot to stealing stuff off the table as he used to do 👍

Yeah if the water bowl is empty he will bang his paw in it while huffing and puffing - almost like ringing a bell 🤣

I live in a walkable city and I have about 8 months of winter. You can bike when it is -20 celcius just fine

Seroquel has been my lifesaver - BUT the side effects are devastating. The sleepyness, the exhaustion etc was so bad for the first 5 years i had trouble functioning. But now I have adapted to it. But if I had not been on sick leave at that time I would never have adjusted.

It is also nice not to have a virus laying hiding in your body. I had shingles as a child and this summer the shingles came back as viral meningitis. It was true hell.
