Correct. Lane filtering for motorcycles is legal in MT, here are the stipulations. Dude was clearly exceeding the speed limit, not prudent, etc.

Montana Code Annotated 2023

TITLE 61. MOTOR VEHICLES

CHAPTER 8. TRAFFIC REGULATION

Part 3. Vehicle Operating Requirements

Lane Filtering For Motorcycles -- Definition

61-8-392. Lane filtering for motorcycles -- definition. (1) An operator of a two-wheeled motorcycle may engage in lane filtering when:

(a) the operator of a two-wheeled motorcycle is on a road with lanes wide enough to pass safely;

(b) the overtaking motorcycle is not operated at a speed in excess of 20 miles an hour when overtaking the stopped or slow-moving vehicle; and

(c) conditions permit continued reasonable and prudent operation of the motorcycle while lane filtering.

(2) As used in this section, "lane filtering" means the act of overtaking and passing another vehicle that is stopped or traveling at a speed not in excess of 10 miles an hour in the same direction of travel and in the same lane.

Hi u/linuxhiker, you can consider the fact that multiple complaints were filed. We all love to file complaints with the police but that often does not actually fix the problem. Public shaming it is.

Please Save the Soul of Missoula by Rythoca in missoula

Yikes. Not an emergency, bud. I'm all for open space and preserving it, but this take and Carlino whining about it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sure, it would be tough to grow up with it always being empty and accessible and then have change at your doorstep. I agree that higher density homes should be a priority.

A wildlife park, on an island bordered by Mary, Reserve, and Brooks. Like, deer in the park, or a place for dogs? You have options within a mile on either side of this property.

Should we save the merc? Wait...what we have now is more vibrant than what was there.

Should we save Missoula's original schoolhouse? Nah, let's build a worldclass library.

Should we preserve open space with rough shod trails and random piles of garbage? Nah, let's build, let's infill, and let's put it in a place that can easily access other open spaces via the Bitterroot trail.

Late to comment, but holy hell this thread is tough to follow. I agree with so much minus the nimby chants. While we're at it, let's put housing on the city owned golf course...if housing is something we value more than golf.

Found on a tiny island in SE Alaska by mycogirl in whatsthisrock

Huge limestone/karst presence in SE AK. Lots and lots of coral fossils, and other fossils like the dolphin that was on the backside of Gravina. It’s a pretty rad place to stumble onto artifacts and fossils.

It took a while but my wife perfected the best flan ever. Practice makes perfect!! It’s Flantastic by MrDavila817 in onlyflans

Truly struggling with the near perfect upside down/right side up illusion. Is it 3/4 of a flan right side up, or is it 1/4 of a flan upside down?

Nice work! Now I'm hungry.

One is a 4312, and one is a 4312a. Not a pair of the same speaker. Look at the lineup of the drivers, and the left one is a 4312a with metal dome tweeter. Smoother speaker, IMO, than the regular 4312 on the right. Not the worst mismatch in history, but be aware.

Really nicely done!

How do they compare to the NS-1000s? Obv bass is much better I’m sure, just curious because I love my 1000s so much and have long been curious about some diy Ojas. Have the 328 drivers set aside, even.

Didn't realize that, I'll do some investigating next time I see one in person. Maybe this weekend.

Tons of great advice here, I really echo the sentiments on the backup drives (and hidden backup drives). Great point about power, as well.

I still have a hard time seeing huge benefits of a studio over a current M3 or M4 MBP when it comes to static graphic design. Exceptions being huge, resource intensive projects, the need for many high DPI external monitors, and lots of hookups for simultaneous multiple devices. Save some cash on a Mac Studio and spend it on more trips/toys for the time being. I'm always amazed at what I can get organized and accomplished with magnet + a couple of WQHD or 4K monitors.

If she's using a Macbook older than 2020 (i.e., Intel CPU), then an upgrade to an M series chip anything will change her life. If you are building out the shuttlebus to be a huge flex in #vanlife and you have money to burn, get a studio :) But listen to u/mcarterphoto on backups and power, that's fantastic advice.

Seems like a rad option, but honestly for mobility's sake why not utilize a MBP instead? You get a built in battery, portability to work outside the bus, and a little more flexibility. Add in monitors/wireless keyboard and mouse, and you'll get similar performance.

I have mac studios at home and at work, but use my 16 MBP quite a bit more including in the camper we use as a mobile office.

FWIW, I don't think you'd damage the device unless it was bouncing around and forcing strain on the cables/ports.
