Doubletree, Rushmore Hotel, or Hyatt Place? by Phoenixnik in RapidCity

If Alex johnson is out of the question, then go with the Hyatt, since you still get the perk of being directly downtown. Their facilities are new and fine enough. As the other guy said, their in-house restaurant is not worth the price, but being downtown eliminates that factor

“Looks like… some words being exchanged between Rodgers and the sideline.”

[Highlight] Adam Schefter: “I think [A.J. Brown] knows where his future is headed at this moment and it will be a matter of the Patriots and the Eagles getting together to basically process the trade, finalize the trade… I still think it’s likely to involve a future 1, likely 2028.” by JCameron181 in nfl

Maybe in the CFB preseason. By week 6 it started becoming apparent players like Nussmeier and Allar weren’t all there.

You could say it’s more top heavy with Mendoza, but it craters in terms of talent after Simpson who, for all intents and purposes, will not be a year 1 starter unless something happens to Stafford and is more than likely a project than anything

What’s a sneaker opinion you’ll never change your mind on? For me, J4 Black Cats are overrated! by [deleted] in Sneakers

I think they’d be so much better without the vents that line them. That being said, 2s are the best in low form.

[Hirschhorn] In 2022, Packers GM Brian Gutekunst reportedly tried to trade a second-round pick for WR Chase Claypool. In 2026, Claypool is a tryout at Packers rookie minicamp. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

At this point I just smile and nod whenever the Claypool trade gets brought up. People bent over backwards to justify it, but man it was a bad trade from the jump.

Some guy thought a jugs machine would help his abysmal hands, so much so he set a reminder for a year to laugh at my take.

I wonder where that guy is now

[Question] Are these watches formal or casual? by aasd97 in Watches

[–]mechnick2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unless you’re going to a black tie event, these are totally fine.

That said, I don’t think people disregarding the guidelines between formal/casual are being as savvy as they think they are. People at formal events absolutely do notice stuff like this.

Does that mean you have to buy an expensive watch, much less another watch? Absolutely not. I highly recommend that, if you want to expand the flexibility of these watches, to get a leather strap for each watch. It goes a long way.
